Plymouth may be without Whittaker, which is a plus for us. And the other lad, Harding (?) who’s a key player for them.

Seriously, if we lose at home to this bunch, which is not outside of the realms of possibility, I may have to start supporting the nearest metropolitan team to me. Which, funnily enough, would actually be Swansea.

Up the Ducks, or whatever it is they yell.

Hopefully we give it a good go forget three centre half’s it’s so defensive against a team we should be attacking.

Dovin
MVE
Bidwell
Kitching
Thomas
Sheaf
Torp
Rudoni
EMC
Simms
BTA

A lot like four four two and I don’t give a shit how the opposition line up we should overrun them.

It’s at the point where Collins needs dropping for his own good. Forget the comedy dive over the ball for their first. It was the nothingness of a foray off the line and a feeble disguise of a punch for the third that screamed “confidence through the floor”.

No matter what Lampard says (or doesn’t say) in the press conference it’s what he (and the coaches) drill into the team for the next game. I’m sure he knows by now the shortcomings he is working with and hopefully he is beginning to instil some passion and fight, after that abysmal second half, as well as his football philosophy into the players. We all know how important 3points is Boxing Day and we should understand that what we can do to help in that cause is get behind the team for the full 90mins.

Zero motivation or enthusiasm to watch some of those clowns at the moment

Wouldn’t be a bit surprised if we got beat

The difference being, Plymouth are probably the smallest club in the division with the smallest budget and anything above the dotted line will be a good season for them, what they lack for in quality they will have in fight

Our lot are an overpaid bunch of mollycoddled prima donnas who think they will just coast through every match and find themselves making the same basic errors every week

If Plymouth rough us up a little bit and pepper our goalie with shots they will win

I toyed with Cardiff NYD, but I just can’t be arsed and I’m usually there most weeks

This squad has time and time again proved itself to be completely dislikable and quite frankly doesn’t deserve a sell out crowd Boxing Day nor the away support it gets

Said on a previous post, I work alternate weekend and will be going when I can for the rest of the season, I can usually get a shift swap or use a bit of AL if I really want to get to a game when I’m rota’d in to work but I’m not bending over backwards to watch this side like I do at the moment

There’s loyalty. Seen some unbelievable low points of which this isn’t remotely close to but it’s still Coventry.

Think that’s the consensus of most mate, selling out Boxing Day is testament to the SBA.

I think we’ll lose, which will firmly make us one of the favorites to go down.

I’d play Dovin Kitching and Bidwell as a starting point.

Shows how poor we’ve got when I’d take a point

I don't think you leave Bassette out ? He was impressive that first 20mins on Saturday.
Best I've seen him play. Shame no right foot.

I can't understand why he didn't slip right when one on one and tap it in with the outside of his left foot.

I will say hopefully things improve as frank deserves a couple of windows, but only using his contacts and none of the potential players he gets recommended

At least he tapped his goal in with his right foot.
Remember OHare at Brum in the FA Cup ? An airshot with his left foot from
half a yard for 1-0 in the last minute.....ffs he could not finish

Experienced front man Andre Gray looks like being Plymouth Argyle’s only available striker for their forthcoming Championship matches, starting at Coventry City on Boxing Day, after Ryan Hardie and Michael Obafemi both picked up injuries during the 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough at Home Park on Saturday.
So says Andy Turner.

Wayne Rooney says Plymouth Argyle will "have to be creative" with their attack over the Christmas period after injuries to Ryan Hardie and Michael Obafemi.

Hardie gashed his knee while Obafemi injured his groin in the 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough.

Argyle are already without injured forwards Muhamed Tijani, Ibrahim Cissoko and Morgan Whittaker until well into January.

And the BBC say.

I said we had to be on it at Portsmouth and we weren't. Tactically out thought in the second half adapting to the conditions. Playing around at the back with terrible conditions was stupid. We are better than Plymouth. If we don't match their endeavour, we will struggle. Win the battle first, then let our better players settle it. I wish.

In an interview with CWR today, Frank Lampard was asked if there will be a change of goalkeeper against Plymouth, he wouldn't confirm one way or the other.

If Collins was playing against Plymouth wouldn't he just say so.

Just listened to Lampard's press interview. Again what a mess. A word salad from a guy who has nothing to say. The interviewer was leading him along and he fell into it each time. He never once made reference to what they are doing to rectify the last performance, as if he were just filling in the blanks. He may be a nice bloke and a legend to many of us but he does not sound like someone who knows what to do. He just doesn't seem to be in command of anything. You don't just nod and agree with the interviewer on every point? I take no pleasure in having a go at him, but I'm not getting filled with optimism atm.
What are you on about? Word salad is about right for your posts. He interviews really similarly to Robins, the odd hint but basically doesn't give anything away. Why should he? Why would he say what was being done to rectify they last performance?
