He played his favoured team and formation v QPR and guess what we got a sub-standard performance yet again. Even the home wins v Swansea, Millwall and Leicester were underwhelming.
He has to mix it up in some way. Yang or Esse will come in for EMC, but that is not a change that will make much difference. I bet he does not throw Frank the Tank in either although he should.
I'd go three at the back and tell MVE and JDS to get forward, Or something like that. Just try something to throw the opposition off track
...and less of the reliance on Rushworth for both saves and long punts, and MVE's long throws. Let's see some variety
A rest ffs played last Saturdaythere are a few that need a rest. I'd bench EMC if fit, def Wolf for Kitch and KKH for da silva. I think MVE needs a rest but if I'm starting KKH on the left then hes playing. But hes not taking any long throws!

I think it is a myth that Wright is in any way forcing his playing down the middle. Lampard, same as Viveash at least before him can see Wright as a centre forward with the attributes he has, and he is the best in that position at the club.which is why I want him to prove that it's not Haji deciding where Haji plays and Frank starts him on the left with Simms down the middle. He's clearly the best option that's fit to start a game that we have to win.

Oh yeah I agree with you that if EMC is out I'd play him left over Minnie. I just don't think he's the blocker to that happeningI don't want Haji on the left, only if it's the best option for a game or two. If we were in a good spot and not under pressure to turn form around I'd be fine with Minni starting. Main thing I don't want it Esse playing out of position when he's started pretty well.

No clean sheet in well over a month…This is must win, Oxford at home. They always have goals in them so we'll need to be solid at the back!
Its 100% a must win game. Its the very epitome of a must win game. Its the most must win game of the season!!!Although today isn't strictly speaking a "must win" match, I can't help but feel that it's important that we do.
A win will help to restore some confidence in the team and set us up for the Middlesborough game. It would be lovely if Onyeka plays and shows us what he can bring to the team.
