In amongst all the doom and gloom of late I found this gem. Great track suits .
Apologies for those who have seen it before, but I only discovered it yesterday. Who's that bloke between Bennett and Houch ?

"Dave Bennett, the left Michael Jackson, without the glove."

Thankfully society has moved on, even though there's further to go.

On the subject of 'who's that?' can anyone tell me who the chap is in this photo standing between Kilcline and McGrath. Seems to be kitted out as a sub but no idea who he is.

I can't remember his name, but I believe he was one of the club's apprentices and he was at the final to help with kits/boots etc.

I believe he was also at the quarter and semi finals and the players had come to regard him as something of a 'talisman'.

I recall there was an article about him in the Coventry Evening Telegraph back in 1987.

Hope this is some help...
