1-1 everyone confirms their existing biases.

Do think we'll start slowly this season.

I've moved from halfway to Block 14 and still haven't received anything. Can hardly say I'm surprised.

Saturday cannot come quickly enough. County will be no pushover and from memory were in decent form toward the back end of last season but I'm hoping Robins new look Sky Blues will do the business; 1-0 with a goal mid-way through the second half. McNulty with a calm, slotted finish after being played through by Kelly.

It's difficult for me to be confident in making a prediction as I haven't seen any pre-season games. But based on what I have read I am going for a 3-1 win.

2-0, McNulty and Stokes (why not).

Doyle to be over excited and get booked within 10 minutes and Willis to be injured by HT (although I hope not).

City to win 2-1. Doyle to paint Kelly's face with a Mike Tyson 'tattoo' as the pre game entertainment before Kelly bites off a bit of Jon Stead's ear having scored the winning goal with 5 minutes to go. RFC to shart all over his chair in his excitement to log into SBT.

We're going to smash them 3-0.

I predict Hill will have logged in to give me some shit before I've even finished playing my own pre season friendly to inform me that Jones has scored one and set one up.

I'll definitely take that though!

I have been looking at the predicted starting lineups for both teams and been using a website I know that helps analyse stats. I've also carried out a couple of online surveys with Notts county supporters about their general feeling etc. I've eximined weather and historical results. Cov 7-0

Big money doesn't mean a lot. Both players were still massively overrated whilst they were here, and at many times our team suffered whilst their development was prioritised.

But yes, if you want me to knock the whole squad so that it will have the reverse effect I will do that just for you!

Cant wait for Saturday, expecting a win, but Nolan I suspect will have team that is physical and tough to beat.... regardless of what happens, compare us to last year when we were going into the season still not sorted with players and praying loan deals came off ( which they never did) thanks Mogga, decent chap but clueless about how to build a team for this level.

Will we actually score 7 goals before the end of September, I am not sure we will.

Will be odd if Reid isn't in the squad but we are still paying him.

He needs to be offloaded asap.

I think Reid might stick around till the end of the window in the hope that some club is stupid enough to match what he's on here.

It's frustrating because I have no doubt that if Thomas and Reid (Turnbull too) had acted responsibly we'd have Collins and Baker in the squad now along with another defender. The budget is obviously used up and we're waiting for them to leave for some wriggle room.

I suspect he's in the deep freeze
He's not been involved in any of the recent pre-season games even when we had two games on successive days
There's no way Robins will consider him for League games

We will come racing out of the blocks - the squad has been together all pre-season. Comfortable win.

I am away this Saturday so gutted I am missing it. I am really looking forward to this season, we have the right man at the helm and players who we actually own and hope they are up for the fight.

1-0 sky blues

It is not often I wish I was living in the UK but the first game of the season always brings a pang of regret that I will not be there.
I will attend about a dozen games this season but it's that pristine pitch, the new kit, the optimism that it comes with new players and new hope and those first day memories always make the first game something special.
I have just spent a week on vacation with my family in Dubai and at the airport yesterday my son said to me that he was so looking forward to going to the game, I asked him why? He said that all promotions have to start somewhere and why not against Notts County this Saturday? I so wanted to be on that flight with them.

Burge
Grimmer Willis McDonald Stokes
Doyle Kelly
Vincenti Bevon NcNulty
Biamou

Beavon and McNulty switching roles, Vincenti tucking back when we lose the ball and turn into a 4213 when counter attacking.

I think we might see Biamou up front, otherwise I reckon that's spot on.

(Admit it, you just didn't want to try and spell Biamou )

I believe we will get off to a flyer.
Confidence seems high so need to take advantage while we can.
Off on holiday Saturday so can't make it at the moment, missis making me do last minute shopping, but if I get on her nerves enough she might send me packing up the football
2-0 City.

Yeh spot with the lineup and switch between mcnulty and Biamou.
Biamou look handy when drifting out to the left.
