Do people still think that we can get top 6 with that midfield?

So Doug and MR are you happy with the below par performances, the new coaching structure, 4 points from 4 games (which is relegation form), the lack of reinforcements in midfield/defence etc etc.?

4 points from 4 games we should be getting more from if we have any aspirations of top 6. Just not good enough and tougher tests to come.

and come to think of it, we’re fortunate to have those 4 points, Oxford could’ve easily been a draw and only individual brilliance got us a point at Bristol.

Far too easy for Norwich in possession

I think not bringing in a new experienced assistant and fresh face was too. I guess that he could have promoted Delaney anyway if he'd wanted to

There’s problems all over the pitch in honesty. Just less money has been wasted on the midfield.

Just wondering, how big a miss is Viveash, if any.

Any correlation to be found?

It may be less about personal and more about lack of stability in methods I'm a huge believer in stability when looking to improve especially with how close we have been over a number of years. The more changes the less muscle memory that stays developed.

Got rid of anybody willing to grab them by the balls and tell them they need to buck up all because they don't want their feelings hurt now they're prancing around the pitch putting in 50%.

Let's be honest, this 3 man midfield just isn't working.

442 next game, and at least until Sheaf is available.

International breaks are always a disruptor to our season. We always struggle to get back up to speed afterwards.

Also, everyone says they wish Viveash was back - but what about Dennis Lawrence?? Doesn't he deserve a mention??

Don't you need to be up to speed first though?

Might have the reverse effect this time and we will come back as 1970 Brazil.

I honestly think, as bad as that was, it's the best we've played this season.
Could be a long 9 months

Midfield wasn’t the issue. It was overall mindset. Every player looked half arsed about the whole thing. Second to everything. Wright is our best forward by a country mile - not sure why he came off. MVE excellent but that was it

They aren’t. It was slow, ponderous and lacking threat.

This attempt to imitate the boring, possession based game that Pep enjoys is not working.

I'm not sure on this one Pete, for all his bluster Eccles out tackled him easily and he didn't create much. I also thought he tired a lot. Still got a long way to go.

Because he was offering fuck all like everyone else and should’ve been hooked earlier.

The squad is good, although lacking quality in midfield. We should be doing much better, that's the frustration.

Well I’ll give you that working it to saka or emc or haji or mve wide and then crossing it to simms isn’t working
We need more to our attacking play
Norwich defended us perfectly

Rudoni? He hid, did nothing with the ball, his set pieces were all garbage. I’d rather have had Eccles on corners. Indont think he beat a man all game. Several times I caught him just standing about doing literally
Nothing when we werenoutbif possession.

Weak and shit.

Rudoni should've been disqualified from MOTM for that awful air shot from 15 yards out, alone

Lads I know you'll all say "we should have signed a midfielder" but it's irrelevant when the team don't look like they've got any game plan, don't look like they've met before. Have no real relationships in the team.

Bidwell started the season really poorly and yet was brought back in and caught square and ball watching. That's on Robins isn't it?

midfield is non existent

17% long ball accuracy , 78% pass accuracy , hit 1 from 6 long balls , hit 1 in 5 crosses , dispossessed 2 or 3 times
, offered nothing and wandered around

Both Eccles and torp with far better matches

Eccles was the least bad. Norman fought a losing battle on his own up front and looked very frustrated.

If it’s still like this come October/November, MR will be under serious pressure.

Robins has a lot to do with this lose. Definition of insanity is just doing the same thing and expecting different results.

Not reaction or attempt to try anything. Just do like for like subs and hope for the best. It’s just mindless, play down the wings or attempt a long ball. Where’s the free flowing attacking we were promisyed

Also where has our work rate gone, we gave them so much space on the ball on the edge of the area and in midfield. Even in the 90. No desire to when it back.

Can I join bedwetting fc
