It's been 16 years since we beat this lot, I've got a very good feeling about spanking them on Saturday.

I fucking hate the International break. Always feels about three months between games.

I'm always worried we'll have forgotten how to play football in the meantime.

I still don't get the need to pack the box with everyone, it causes misunderstanding between players. I've always been one for leaving one or two players up on the half way line (especially small speedy players) which would equate to the attacking team having to leave two or three men back to cover them, thus leaving more space in the box to track players better

I accept this is one of my most mental suggestions, but I’d like to see us leave 7 attackers up at corners.

Even longer next year, skipping the September break but having a longer one in October

Edit- September 21st - October 6th with 4 matches played rather than 2

Have to be winning these sort of games if we are to make a good start and keep the momentum for a challenge at the top. It's all about momentum and early 3 pointers on the board. Form a little gap quickly and everyone will start beleiving. I'm sure Wright wants to show he's better than Sargent so extra emphasis there. 2-0

And the useless England games. And associated overreaction. Qualifying is completely redundant for some nations with the expanded tournaments.

Who is getting anything out of watching us play Serbia for the 18th time?

Let’s hope Sargent doesn’t want to show he’s better than Wright.

Unbeaten in the league, scoring goals, but likewise, conceding too many.

Bar injuries, personally cannot see FL changing the team or formation.

Wolfenden, Saka, Wilson, Brau, KKH, Allen, Simms, Eccles, Andrews on the bench. Bidwell if Eccles still not fit.

Bidwell ahead of Brau at LB if JDS not fit.

Can't play Bidwell at LB, his legs have gone.

I think he’ll play Bidwell if Dasilva isn’t fit, don’t know what that says for Brau. Any chance KKH plays there?

It's always nice to beat the better sides but even more important is to try and keep up with averaging 2 points a game. With so many of the better sides not having a good start 92 points would be a good target.

Very glad it was Josh Sargent rather than Hadji Wright who had to go on international break. Sargent played on Saturday (2-0 loss to South Korea) and was an unused sub against Japan (2-0 win for USA). He will be travelling back today so will only get a light session or 2 before our match.

Whilst Sargent has proven himself in the Championship he hasn't convinced for the national team. Hopefully a nice motivator for Haji to put in one of his unplayable performances on Saturday!

Shame Sarge didn't play in the Japan match. Minor injury we hope?

I said it feels like we are always poor after the breaks. Someone put me right. Apparently we are quite good.

Not sure if all seats have been opened up for purchase yet but if they have sales look really strong. We've had just over 27K home fans for our first two home games, looks like it could be higher this week.

I reckon we’ll draw and then win for the first time at the Wa!kers stadium.

International breaks seem to disturb the rhythm and players seem to be unfit again where as fans we are right up for it

This is one of our better chances to beat Norwich though as they are weaker than they have been for a while.

Norwich have nearly sold out the away end, maybe around 100 seats left.

Whilst a win against Norwich would be nice, I would take that.

The thought of beating Leicester is delicious.

We’ve never won in that stadium either. Time for Lampard to work his voodoo magic as he did in Swansea.

On summers when there isn’t a tournament they should just fit all the qualifiers in. Leave the season free for the club game.
