Relieved with the draw, but that could easily have been another 7 goal game.
So many chances which, against qpr fell our way, but today against Norwich, definitely didnt go our way.
We could/should really have won every game this season so far...and i'm not even joking.

Such a weird season. Seen some of the best football I ever have from city but then results are really pretty poor so far. We look fragile defensively and for all our possession and attacking play seem to have trouble carving out clear chances to match.

Thomas needs dropping next game. And Simms need to decide if he even wants to be a footballer.

Bizarre game! We are a really good team at this level. A couple of breaks and this is QPR again. Just one of those days really and we should take heart that we’ve absolutely annihilated a good champ team in reality.

Positives;
Still unbeaten. Sitting in 6th and still in touch. We played them off the park. We never gave up, even though it felt for all the world that it wasn’t going to be our day.

Negatives;
Not ruthless enough today. Defense desperately needs a calm head.

Out of our control;
The fuckingref
Norwich’s time wasting, which was up there with the worst I’ve ever fuckingseen.

Agree. Still think we've had a very good start

Though I’ve been very critical of Simms, I think he might need more game time. He got an assist for Wright’s goal and can be a handful for defenders if he plays with some. grit

That was a fucking frustrating afternoon. Amazing to get yet another ET goal but they were shit and we should have had them buried about 25 minutes in. As soon as they scored you could see us deflate.

MVE is a monster and his performance in the final 15 minutes is my favourite I've seen this season. His tackle that led to the goal was exquisite.

Norwich were a pack of negative, shithousing, time wasting pricks. Everything wrong with modern football in one team. The referee had a stinker but I will give him credit that he started the yellows for time wasting early and was pretty consistent.

Where's the change in game plan when it isn't working.

Same old again today. Pinging balls left to right and back again across the edge of the oppositions box (allowing the whole of the oppositions team to get back and defend) before crossing it in hoping to out jump defenders and score. Sometimes just need to move it quicker down the pitch, be quicker, more direct and go try more centrally.

Hard to be upset with the performance there, if you create that many chances on a regular basis then you are far more likely to win games than not (and will completely batter plenty of teams in the process).

If Woolfenden can come in and sort out the comedy act at the back then we will be very strong this year.

I 100% believe that GKs should also have to leave the pitch if they're claiming to be injured

You could easily justify dropping Thomas for him now I think.

Christ they even tried to miss that! Great work from MVE though, and energy levels to chase that down after 96min.

Norwich did some great last ditch blocks/tackles but were frankly a fuckin embarrassment today

We’re playing some great stuff at the moment, a joy to watch. Another day that’s 4-1 easy

You are right about the atrocious finishing of some of our forwards though, whether that was trolling or not.
We should have been in for Kone imo. Will prove to be a bargain.

Yes I really am surprised that we didn’t get someone in, and surprised some were happy with what we have there

Not today but last few games our xG has been far below what you’d expect for the dominance.

I'm sorry, but in the last 2 games we've missed a shit load of sitters. I'm happy with the start but it's madness to expect people not to hilight the amount of sitters we're missing.

We won’t get a referee as diabolical as that every game though

I honestly start to hate football a bit when they let this shit happen. Keeper faking injuries all the time. Players faking injuries all the time. Time wasting.

Said before and I'll say again, they should treat players on the pitch as the game goes on like in rugby

No I agree but no home advantage when you come against a team or officials like that and the crowd were fairly quiet once they realised what we were get after 15
mins.

Just think he pulled out of a lot of challenges and didn’t look like he wanted it like he can. I don’t think it had anything to do with “today”

Simms looked much brighter and more confident today than he has so far this season and was unlucky not to score

I had the guy next to me suggesting Wright substitution at half time and I'm not sure I disagreed with that tbf.

Wright pulling out of a challenge lead to their goal.

And considering weve conceded 7 , defensively its showing we are not much wrong and have been a tad unlucky
