Really think that is a massive 3 points

Firstly, I thought Millwall were a proper side, maybe the 0-4 at their place lowered my expectations of them a little bit

Score was harsh on them. We were better than them, but scored our second when they were on top, and then could take them as they threw caution to the wind.

Given the results so far this season, personally I’m not aching to swap out 2/3 of our midfield with two new players who don’t appear to be considered viable Premier League options at the moment.

Sakamoto coming on for the last 25-30 minutes in these last two games a nightmare for defenders, and has basically created a goal in each shift. I still think ALL our goalscorers will hit form in this run now; Rudi is the biggest worry in that regard as he does seem a bit all over the place compared to the others. These next three games a real chance to put a winning run togethor prior to the potential 6-pointer vs 'borough on Feb 16...

I think we need another midfielder but with the way Eccles is performing the player we bring in has to be a significant improvement on what we currently have

I think that can wait until the summer tbh - our current midfield is clearly more than capable of performing at a high level in the Championship.

If we think he’s the man for the PL then I’m not against doing business extra early, but at nine points clear of third with 18 games to go then I don’t see the urgency to bring in another midfielder. I think this squad is the one.

Bringing in the two wingers has definitely eased the pressure on the squad but another midfielder also helps

He got away with a blatant shove on a Blackburn player on Sat in the box that the the ref and lino ( both related to Stevie Wonder ) somehow missed.

Apparently he could have been sent off twice at the weekend, the Ipswich fans were saying he was very very lucky

They are a really good side and move the ball with purpose, they were 4th and you can see why. Couple of cracking players that caused trouble for us.

But the difference is the bench, the put a shift in and you then look up and see Torp, BTA, Tatsu and Simms trot on it must make your heart sink. That is what hurts the opposition, but i like Millwall and hope they get in the PO.

That Millwall wall of noise/human vuvuzela is the most annoying chant in football. Unique, but what a fucking horrible sound.

At least they didn’t sign “is this a library?” Like every other away end.

When everyone is available soon , some players will be disappointed to not even to make the bench .

Anyone worried we made hard work of that should watch this. Not the only Millwall fan to say how much effort their players put into their performance, players will raise their level to against the league leaders especially the teams chasing us. We'll be in for a lot of games like this but it's massive we now have quality in depth to switch things up and find a way to win.

Would sure be nice if the two teams behind us had opposition sides step things up like this seemingly every game. Not really seen that yet.

Brilliant result, back to back wins which is perfect heading to Norwich next!

I thought for the first 20mins there was only one side who was at the races, we got the goal, but they are such a good side, they got back into the game and their goal was very good.

They put us under a lot of pressure and I think they’ll be disappointed not to come away with at least a point.

Some good performances on our side, Esse was probably standout, I thought Wright built on his cameo from the weekend and got a deserved goal, JDS was really good as well, Tats’ cameo was also really good and effective.

Bit concerned with Rudi, too many times he gave the ball away last night, he seems to be really struggling, I’d be considering benching him for a spell if I was Frank.

32 more points and I think we are up.

Coventry were harshly denied a second for offside against Esse, even though he did not appear to be interfering with play, and Millwall pushed for a winner.

Genuine question for @MillwallFan, do you have other songs outside of the one that sounds like guitar feedback?

Personally felt from the replay that Esse slightly obstructed one of the defenders who was trying to get back to challenge MVE. I haven’t watched it back again though.

HUGE win, few issues defensively again. But frankly all that matters is the result.

a gritty all action midfielder could be really helpful.......

On we go - take a point a Norwich.

There was nothing really harsh about it IMO. It did look like Esse was interfering in play. It was identical to one Millwall had about 10 mins later which was also rightly ruled offside.

I thought that was another weak game from JDS. A missed header that we were lucky to escape, got megged on halfway for the goal, at one point he even got called out by the Sky commentator for not doing enough to cut off the cross (as usual). We really need a top quality starting left back! Our left side needs to be more productive in the assists column too.

Can’t be a real Millwall fan - too much hair.

Also enjoyed the fact he kept on referring to Ivanovic as “the Serb”.

We can argue about the ability of our defence but in reality we play 3 at the back and one of those is Grimes. We simply don’t play with full backs. MVE and Dasilva are wide midfielders pushed right up to our wingers. You look at last night and most other home games and we could easily be 3 down at HT. But hey, that’s how we’re doing it. Enjoy the chaos.
