To be honest, yesterday’s win over an inform Watford side was unexpected. I expected a defeat but everything clicked yesterday. We pressed high and in the 1st half we made them look pretty ordinary. 2nd half they played better but Azeez and Coburn took their goals well and we ran out deserved winners.

I didn’t yesterday, even after our result, expect to beat you lot on Tuesday, and that won’t change. With a lot of our injured players back now I do expect us to compete better than when we played you at the Den. Our win against Watford makes our game against you a free hit, because I expected to lose to both teams.

Of course I’d be happy with a draw, even ecstatic if we got the win, but given the choice of losing against you but beating Charlton on Saturday and keeping our 29 year win run over them intact (and send them nearer the trap door in the process), I’d take a defeat from Coventry every day.

Also, why do you hate Charlton so much?

Is it because they are like the really nice popular kid at school who’s nice to everyone, not racist, and makes a bit of an effort so is liked for good reason, and you are… well, Millwall?

We can change our entire front three for fresh legs after 60 minutes if we want to.

What a great position to be in.

Think we do some rotation here cos that’s a thing we can do now.

Rushworth
MvE Lats Kitching Dasilva
Eccles Grimes
Saka Rudi Yang
Wright

BTA to get half an hour. Maybe Esse in as he needs minutes and should be up for this but Saka basically scored so would’ve a bit harsh.

disagree with this

same team other than BTA in for Rudoni with the plan to swap in the 2nd half

the team are on a high after yesterday, and worked well together, plus if we’re a couple up and can bring Rudoni on with less pressure it might also do his confidence good

Seriously doubt BTA is up to a start if he could only do ten mins yesterday.

Wolfie , in my opinion, has to come in & was very surprised yesterday, when not starting.
He hasn’t been the main player, that we were all hoping he would be , but Lat’s worries me & we can’t afford a blip now .

On how they’ve played and not reputation or fee I really can’t see how you’ve made this argument.

How can you say that after latis performance yesterday?

Some people just thave bias against players and won't budge from it

Esse showed he has the ability and unpredictability to be a match winner.
Must start again.

Fair play to the lad. First half tried too hard to impress and do the ‘extraordinary’ with flicks and tricks. Second more effective by doing simple things quickly and well. I wonder whether he will replace Tats as a starter for rest of the season, or be used in the Rudoni role, or be used as an impact sub as defences tire.

Millwall are in very good form and JDS will have a real challenge trying to keep Azeez quiet. IMO Both our fullbacks will need more support from our wingers than they experienced in the first half yesterday, if we are to win.

who said he could only do ten? maybe he wasn’t needed until late in the game to help see it out….

I would be surprised if he couldn’t turn in a 60 minute shift from the off

Back us to win this game, Millwall are in good form but we’re at home and this is the type of game that we need to win if we’re going to finish the job.

The exact same applies to Oxford and Boro at home.

Wonder if EMC playing the 90 means we might see Yang start.

Can see Wright and Woolf in the starting 11 on Tuesday although unfair to Lati and Simms. Also curious on BTA as to whether he’ll start

EMC look knackered for the 15mins. I expect he’ll start but come off with 20 to go.

Lati was our worst rated player yesterday.

His passing at times put us under pressure and there was about 2 counter attacks caused from Lati alone.

Lessons need learning from the first half yesterday. Wide open in midfield, too slow progressing the ball and we should have been 3-0 down at least.

Want to see that energy from the second half carried into Tuesday. Very interested to see if Esse takes things up a level himself against his former club.

Keep doubling down on your idiocy

You posted a picture of him as a clown before the Charlton game and he did well then

You don't beat parachute teams with absolute liabilities in your team

How nice to have genuine rotation options.

I would go with

Rushworth
MVE - Lati/Wolf - Kitch - Dasilva
Eccles - Grimes
Sakamoto - Rudoni - EMC
Wright

Yang to get 30 mins for EMC and BTA to get 20 odd mins as well

He gave the ball away a few times and I mentioned to perosnxnext to me I'm not sure why he thinks he has a player makers skill set in that first 25 mins

However overall he had a good game and it's stupid to pretend otherwise.

He is a squad player not a starter. These types of performances are all we need from him when called upon

Given Lati got the nod over Wolf yesterday it will be interesting to see what happens v Norwich.

I'd imagine Thomas will be straight back in, if Lati drops to the bench will Wolf be dropped from the squad? I'm assuming Lati starts Tuesday, which I think he will.

He's just too slow and his passing often puts people under pressure. Doesn't suit our style of play at all.

There was nothing wrong with Woolf, Lampard said it was his decision based on games and training

Ok then who knows. Maybe we will see Woolf in if lati shows fatigue or Woolf impressed more in training etc

I would play Woolf Tuesday as Millwall are a tall team .A Watford supporting work colleague told me that they are a team of giants and literally bullied them for 90 minutes yesterday. Hence why another tall player for me wouldn’t be such a bad thing . That said Lati was good yesterday
