Dunno what to think. Could definitely see us losing it as it's a high pressure game

But at same time we tend to look at it only form our pov. Boro are not in good form and will feel like they have possibly thrown it away even worse than we have. Maybe it will be a routine win like wba and Sunderland

Maybe we draw and sheff utd and Burnley do us a favour.

For once covcity4life doesn't have the answers! Let's just hope for the best.

Things have gone against us. At Plymouth, their hero of the day should’ve been red carded twice and against Luton, JDS was red carded when he clearly wasn’t the last man stopping a ‘clear’ goal scoring opportunity.

Decisions like that change the outcome of games.

Whatever happens, it's been an enjoyable season. Ups, downs and everything else in-between. Genuinely not bothered if we make the playoffs.

All surprisingly difficult games given the form table. Hull being the exception and a game we should have won.

It is what it is. Failure to pick up points v Plymouth and Luton was not ideal but Boro was always the must-win the tie of the remaining 3 games.

He was last man. He didn’t commit a foul.

Well that's the definition -

And what JDS did was careless, so don't see how it can't be a foul. In which case, red card for last man. If he wasn't being careless, he wouldn't have run straight across the back of his heels.

If he gets further up than sitting next to our back 3.

It was just dumb by Dasilva - he was never going to recover the ground as he is slow on the turn so it was always the outcome

Foul yeah, but I wouldn’t agree it was careless of Dasilva.

Id say that running directly behind a player at full speed is careless tbh , what's the best outcome for Jay there ?

Well, being careful is avoiding clipping someones heels. And the opposite of careful is careless.

Foul yes, red card very harsh, I'd of said the same if it had been the other way round too

Very interesting tactics at play here.
Middlesborough may well play a low block and wait patiently to catch us on breaks and set pieces, and then push last 15mins.
If they attack us from the off we may create a lot with spaces they leave, but will our defence crumble? We may well just outscore them by 1.
I think Binks, Lati and especially Kitching took a lot of confidence from Luton, which was a good test going into playoffs.
Fascinating exciting and tense game which is great for us as a club and fanbase.

Was it really a goal scoring opportunity, he still had a hell of a lot to do.

As is his weakness being beaten by a ball in the air, he’s got fuck all option I think. It’s not intentional obvs, it’s just unfortunate. Would’ve been just as pointless running across toward goal.

Think the right answer was he was fucked anyway, he was already losing the foot race.

do we know any more on Milan/Thomas?!

Collins
Joel - Binks - Kitching - Bidwell

That doesnt fill me with any confidence tbh and would be a walking disaster in the playoffs

We're going to need to score at least twice on Saturday, something we've only done once in last 7

Was he, he's out on the wing, DaSaliva didnt go in with studs or commit dangerous play, there's an argument to be had that the Luton player clipped Dasilva
