The away form thing is a tactical thing. The overall slump is mentality and tactical.

Isn't the slump just the away form?
Dropping points at the weekend hardly constitutes a slump at home.

Results wise maybe, but even at home our performance levels have been below par for a while.

I keep thinking back to the Watford game where they ripped through us time and again and although we won 3-1, Rushworth was clear MOTM, and that seemed to be the turning point where teams started to believe they could hurt us.

We've been (mainly) winning though.
We were never going to keep up early season performance levels.

As Stu's put above, the perfomances have dropped and I think we've been lucky to take wins at home over the last month or two.

I guess we'll have a better idea of whether its just the Away form or whether it's bigger than that once we've played Boro

People think that just because we haven't blown teams away at home our form has slumped.
Complete bollox
Leicester created a few opportunities 1st half but so did we , we then destroyed them 2nd half and ran out worthy winners.
Millwall created a couple of decent opportunities but so did we and again we ran out worthy winners.
On Saturday we created more against Oxford than we did against QPR at home but didn't find the net with every shot we had.
Our form has slumped away admittedly but our home form has been ok

I keep thinking back to the Watford game where we could have easily have been 2 or 3 nil down at half time if it wasn't for Rushworths heroics, that seemed to be the turning point where teams started to believe they could hurt us.

We were 2-0 up inside 7 mins so how the fuck could we easily have been 3-0 down at half-time?!

I've just never known a 3-1 victory be talked about in such a way for so long. It's just weird, there are no fans of other clubs doing this, i guarantee it.
There are things we can moan about sure, i get worked up on match days and maybe the day after but i find i've mellowed a bit after that up until the next game. If people want to repeat the same rubbish over and over on here as a stress relief then its up to them but the Watford one is just fucking odd at this point.

I guarantee that if we go up, this place will lose it's head, many, many, many more times next season!

Just hope we stick with wolf and lati, they deserve a run of games together, we seem to do better when Thomas doesn’t play, would still like to see Hayden at left back, but doesn’t seem to want to change da silva, would love to win this one and knock them off the top after a week, they think they’re unbeatable. we know how quickly that can change , 3-1 cov

I'm okay with this that's what a squad is for.

Best we looked defensively was prob Southampton. 2nd half, no Thomas or kitching and no da silva for 45 mins, did concede our usual soft goal but we looked solid after that, lati started against Southampton Leicester, milwall and Oxford , thats 4 games 2 wins and 2 draws, deserves a go, its Not esse or onyeka that turns out form
round, obviously it’s lati

Rushworth

MvE Thomas Woolfenden JDS

Onyeka Grimes

Sakamoto Torp EMC

Simms

2-0 Cov - very us to drop points in three very winnable games, and then turn it on in a big game at home. Having watched a fair bit of Boro last few weeks, they're not this unstoppable force like Leeds/Burnley were last year, they can be got at and have had some nice luck to go with their good performances last 6 games.

exactly , forget the last 2 months Look at it as win Saturday and we’re top of the league with 14 games to go and we’ve got, Asante, EMC to come back and hopefully onyeka slots straight in, we shouldn’t have but we’ve still got a brilliant chance

Last time he scored from a header? I don't know, seems a long time ago. Wolf is about 6 feet 4.

He has assists for headers and a couple more were going in that were poached. He's definitely a big threat in the opposition box.

I know we're at home, but I might be inclined to play 5 at the back and give Grimes a rest.

Rushworth
MVE
Thomas
Lati
Wolf
Dasilva
Onyeka
Eccles
Rudoni
EMC
Wright

I worry about the lack of passing ability in that three without Grimes. Either 3ATB or Onyeka for me

If you don't count the goals we scored and do count the goals they didn't score then it's pretty easy.

Oh yeah. Now you put it that way.

I was just thinking about some of Wright's goals. If he had hit the side netting rather than scoring in 3 games, he would probably have 3 goals less.
