Don’t they have to play Ipswich still? After all the hype around ‘hell ball’ I hope we go up with Millwall.

Great result! Great performance. The game suited us, let them have the ball and play on the counter attack. Need to back this up now away from home against lesser opposition, and against those that want to sit in a block and let us have the ball.

Well, well, well…

Brilliant performance and win. Now, excuse me while I observe the meltdown from Boro and Sunderland fans on Facebook. They were all giving it loads earlier, palling up and sucking each other off - quite certain of a Boro landslide.

Absolutely made up with that, bit disappointed how we came out 2nd half it was a far cry from the confidence we had in the 1st half
But a good win and good for Wright to get back on goal scoring firm

Yes, Middlesbrough win in that one would be good for us IMO (unless Ipswich are above them by then).

Great win and performance, well deserved overall against a very good side.

Fair play to Lampard, showed that he does have a bit of tactical nous and Onyeka helped him to execute that plan perfectly.

Also fair play to Haji. Some of the really low shit he gets from some on here and elsewhere is out of order, he's a top player at this level and he's delivered tonight when it mattered. In fact he's scored the winning goal in our last three wins now.

That performance was incredibly encouraging.

Delighted with the score. Added bonus that we did it playing with such a high level of desire and fight.

Never in doubt.

"We're going to get tanked."

WE ARE THE ONES WITH THE TANK

I was very confident tonight. We were never going to lose.

We should have approached Norwich and QPR like that after going ahead honestly but nevermind, its done now. We were just trolling everyone into thinking the rest of the league had a chance.

That was quite clearly planned and a tactical decision!

We dropped back and kept our shape to weather a potential Boro storm (which tbh didn’t come until a bit later on anyway!).

YES!

Absolutely brilliant result. We badly needed that. Badly. Fair play to the lads, they really stepped up to the mark tonight and put in the performance.

Well Impressed with Onyeka, we've badly needed those kind of attributes in our midfield, and it just looked so much more balanced, so much better.

Sakamoto, he's been getting criticism lately, but he was superb tonight. A lot more like the Sakamoto we know.

Still in shock we got a penalty, blatant as it was! On recent history, wouldn't have been shocked at all if he'd not given it.

Now, we've GOT to follow this up against West Brom. We've got to start putting in this type of performance away from home. I feel more confident we can having Onyeka in there, it gives us a much better chance of doing that just by offering much more of a presence in the middle of the pitch.

Fucking brilliant to a man. Battered them in every sense. If we do go up I reckon that'll be the game we look back on as pivotal.

What a massive result.
Onyeka lived up to expectations and more.
Wright doing what we know he can.
Saka immense.

But need to follow it up Saturday.

Fair play to him, when he's great he's great.

That's why when he does nothing for months on end it's so frustrating.

That's a performance to be proud of! The boys showed fight now we need to see that for another 14 games!! Shows we dont have to go gun fucking ho every game to get rests we can keep it tight when we need to!! Hats of to lati tonight feared the worst when we see his name on the teamsheet but he stepped up and done a very good job this evening. Loved his challenge on their striker on the 10second mark!!!

really good performance and the set up against a team who were prepared to attack us was perfect. Hope we don’t get carried away though, it’ll be the performances against teams who are happy with a point that make the real difference from now on.

Wright fully deserved that hat trick. 3 very different goals shows when he’s on it he is the best in the league. Now he’s set the standers for the last 14.

Tank is exactly what we needed. Changed our midfield. He’s everywhere.

Defence as well as as great overall.

Big shout out to Tatsu. He was immense in that first half. Set the standers for tone for the game with the press.
