4-0 Boro we are just not good enough to cope with there pace and movement and a team that will attack at will. The Boro curse will finally be over.

Feel the fans need to still believe this achievable.... hope the players show some fight that they won't just whimper out of this. A few big performances will be needed. Will be fully on lamps selection and tactics that he decides to go with. Monday will be massive for us

Ok - everyone saying Frank "the tank" will sort us out.

Why!? What is saying that he will!?

Why do we assume all of our signings are the second coming of Pele.

People were jizzing themselves hearing we'd signed Brau. He's shit

People saying KKH was an upgrade on MVE because he won a few awards at Preston - yes Preston who were nearly relegated!

He could be a liability and just not fit how we play (what even is that at the moment!?)

Big big big gamble to throw him in now in Monday...

While I agree with every word I'm still pinning my hopes on Onyeka, I've got nothing else!

Not too downbeat about this game. It’s Cov City and years of experience tell me that this is the sort of game they could excel in. It feels like to me that in the previous few weeks we looked like the teams of old under pressure not to go down to yet another cup shock!
Boots on the other foot and with us almost feeling underdogs again the CBS will be rocking !

Cuckentry 0 - 2 Boro

Esse to do some flicks in his own half and lose the ball. Red card to someone for losing their shit needlessly. Us to string three passes together once all game. Lampard to refuse to clap the fans at the end cos he’s been on this game a long time and we need to appreciate like to like subs on the 75th min.

Seems loads of the fans have already thrown in the towel and given up.

Hopefully the players are made of sterner stuff.

Boro win. People on here will condemn the performance and result. Then the other people who insist we’ll win because we always beat Boro and we’re so brilliant at home apparently, will have a go at those who are unhappy with the result.

We are brilliant at home.

1 defeat all season.

Personally, I haven't used the "we always beat Boro" line. That's irrelevant to me. I am only basing on our home form this season, which has been excellent.

There's no "apparently" about it.

11 wins, 3 draws, 1 defeat. That is indeed pretty brilliant

Head over heart on this one but would be typical of us to win here after our form

Given the capitulation of the last few months I'd say that's a forlorn hope.

It's not this game that concerns me, it's some of the away games we have coming up. Even bloody Swansea are suddenly finding form.

Despite what people on here think, our home form won't be enough.

We need balls of steel for this.
Up for it from the off, get fucking into them firm but fair, all players need to stand up tall, fans loud and passionate.

We can still do this, it's not over by any stretch.

Boro will come and play, they're full of confidence. That'll suit us more than a low block.
Could easily be a classic.
2-2, Simms to come on as sub and gets a late winner. 3-2.

In many ways this is the perfect game. A win could be the catalyst to get the season back on track with the added benefit of putting a dent in Middlesbrough's. Our home record is exceptional and we have to believe.

‘Boro will stall at some point’

Doesn’t mean we’ll find good enough form to combat it.

That is 6 on the bounce for Boro but they won't win every week. However I keep saying it, they are long overdue a win against us.

I'll commit to this, if we do win AND PLAY WELL, then I will put on a positive hat between now and the end of the season.

If we continue as we have been and we lose then I think I will struggle to find any positives. The "entitled" tag and "you'd have taken this at the beginning of the season" don't fly anymore for me.

I genuinely wish we didn't see this coming but we all did, because we are Cov.

Boro win this one convincingly 2-0. We won't score.

Boro showed they’re vulnerable at the back when under pressure. If SU kept 11 yesterday they would have got a draw.

Looked vulnerable when I watched them play Stoke.

Got to be aggressive against them and put them under pressure. If we stand off like we did against Ipswich they will play around us

Time to mix it up I think

-----------------Rushworth
Bobby ---------Wolfe/Lati------- Kitchen
MVE ------Oneyka --- Grimes ------JDS
--------Rudoni --------- Eccles/Torp (More narrow)
-------------------Wright-----------------

Back to the box, be tight first 60 minutes and release the wingers second half. Got to try something new!

Right I’m changing my attitude. I’ve been through the change curve and hit bottom. Time to get out of this rut

We’ve got nothing to lose now. The players have to really want this. The management have to want this. The fans have to want this.

We’re still in the auto slots and it’s in our hands.

Only way we’re going to get a result against Boro is if we are all in the fight together. Players have to show the passion from minute one and they will be backed by the SBA!

It’s time for Frank to unleash the Tank. Bring EMC back in and just fucking go for it.

I agree.

I have been saying for some time that we have to pick up points away.

Otherwise we are going nowhere.

There is no way they are going to sit back like Oxford. Will definitely suit us more.

If we are honest the last 4 or 5 home games haven't been great either. The quality of play has significantjy dropped home and away for a few months.
There's an awful lot on the Tank because you don't see many battlers or leaders in this team. Saka and Rudi a bit.
Wright needs to show something very soon else we have to persist with Simms until the end of the season. We can't afford a sulky morale drainer in the team.
