Was great to see finally what we've heard so much about him . His running with the ball reminded me of a young Chris Waddle and he looked to pick a decent pass too .

Who booed him? I didn't hear that at all. A few individuals sounding off at times, but that was the most I've heard his name sung since he's been here

Which makes it a little odd for me we haven't done anything in that department over the summer.
Robins spunked 3/4s of the initial Gyokeres fee on those 3, which is a bit of sickener considering it could have been a game changer for the club, I don't see what his recruitment plan was there at all.

He is a confidence player and needs consistent support from the fans to reach the levels he was at in 2023/2024 season. I am not sure given he has 2 goals in 2 matches that he can't go on a run now and I hope Lampard puts some faith in him for the next couple of games at least. BTA seems to be more effective off the bench tooThink the thing with Simms is he’ll need a consistent run of games and goals! 2 things that he can’t put together right now. Until that happens I feel he’s not gonna change. I want him to do well and finally start making the CF position his but it’s just not happening for him right now! For me and like most I spoke to it was always going to be a straight swap. It made sense to give both a halve with our new found centre back Bidders!
I watched him first half more than usual and he was giving out orders and bossing like Fadderz use to, which was nice to see and hear.
