think our full backs will have to do a lot of defending. Cant have Madvidi and Fatawu running 1 on 1 v Kitching/Binks and Thomas. If we can limit them in those spaces i think we have a great chance. Theyre missing Vardy, Ndidi, Iheanacho and Daka so i'd argue we will have a stronger bench

They have McAteer and Praet back for tomorrow. With Wright out we're not going to have a stronger bench.

Haji is a massive loss. He's involved in most goals. Granted, we scored 6 against Oxford but Leicester are another level. Hardly conceded any all season.

I think he'll go for the same set up as against Leeds. Let Simms do the work up top.

Theyre nothing special. But with Wright out you're probably right

That would be mad and I'm certain he won't do that, not at home. I think the opposite, we'll have a right go at them

I’m optimistic and think we won’t lose on Saturday and actually back us to win the game.

I have a feeling Robins will do something left field this weekend and either change formation or deploy a team similar to Leeds:

(3-4-2-1)
Collins
Thomas
Lati
Binks
MVE
Eccles
Sheaf
Bidwell
Sakamoto
COH
Wright

Personally I’d stick with 4-2-3-1 and probably stick Palmer on the left if Wright is not 100%.

Kitching will start unless injured

If that means it's Simms on the LHS, I can live with it. If he's been dropped again for Godden, not happy.

It's ridiculous to claim Latibeaudiere offers more than Eccles in midfield. Eccles has been our best midfield player and one if our best players this season. He is excellent positional and rarely gives the ball away. He's not Hamer level but he is an important player for us and will continue to be going forward.

He had one dogshit game. (Can’t remember which) but is developing really well this season and could be an important puzzle piece for the future.

Godden playing would infer we are going to defend in numbers at least to start and try and do them on the break ….at least to start. Probably the best plan against these.

If you wanted to defend and hit someone on the break you'd play Simms as to play on the counter you need an out ball and frankly Godden can't do that these days. Simms and his strength and pace advantage over Godden would be the better bet in that case.

Imagine if Simms came on as sub and scored two goals and got dropped, this place would go crazy.

I don't particularly remember such a game and he has been an important piece of the puzzle for well over a year.

Stupid question but will the likes of the Royal and Parkstone be open early tomorrow or will it just be The Wheatsheaf with half of WMP outside and Dhillons?

Worked against Leeds. Would we have got the point playing 4-3-3? Who knows.

This is the game for him to prove the point but the Leicester CBs won't be losing any sleep over him.

I seem to remember Ian Holloway was their manager at the time and he threw a right strop after the game

Godden covers more mileage in the press, that’s why he gets the nod

he doesn't and that is not why he has been picked, he is in as he scored 2 in the cup

I can tell you that for a fact

Also teams that sit back and play on the counter don't go for high pressing games

Only back 6 rows, surely not going to leave rest of block empty when it has been open 4 times already this season?

Wasn't aware they did that outside of the play off games, not seen it this season, but yeah must be there tomorrow.

Not sure. A few folks have said Simms should get a run of games based on some decent performances, and accepting he's here to be the future of the fwd line with Wright. Don't think I get your point.

Leicester are easily the best team in the league this season and imo I think they would stay up in the Prem this season with who they have at their disposal. WIth that being said, I see no reason with how we have been playing of late, especially in the attacking third, that we cannot come out tomorrow and get a good result.

Key will be to contain KDH(Which is easier said than done of course) and feed off the home fans who will be as loud as always I am quite sure.

Will be watching from North Carolina(On ESPN Plus here in the States) and cheering on the boys.

I’m fearing this may be so but I’m rather hoping this is just a ruse to throw them off the scent
Kitching yes, Godden no; even less so if it means Simms to the left of the 3.
Simms up top, Palmer on the left for me, please.
