I don’t understand though…are we still tired? how? I agree we need more depth for the rest of the season but is this 11 tired? can’t be

I think after we lost our first to Ipswich we should have gone to a more condensed stodgy set up.

Loads of times we have dropped points recently is down to us losing the midfield battle.

Grimes and Rudoni have essentially got free roles in this formation, which is broken because of it. And we've added in another winger in Esse, who is closer to EMC in defensive workrate, than to Sakamoto.

All teams need to do against a midfield that dysfunctional, is to sit deep and stretch the play so much that it leaves their own midfield a huge overload in a massive space, against Torp. Grimes needs to play 10-15 meters higher, Rudoni to play in a much tighter circle, so that he stops wandering around like a fucking bison grazing the entire Savannah, and then that gives the 2 wingers the freedom they want to play high.

The exact lucky bounce I said. Scuffed shot by Rudi and bounced off Simms back leg as he's being pulled down. Just as good as a 40 yard screamer - a goal is a goal. Now come on.

Simms just lumbers around waiting for the ball to come to him. Never runs towards a cross or a pass.
