Our midfield just gives no protection to the defence. Even Grimes has gone missing recently.

We just look totally at sea.

I do wonder what the manager must be thinking when he watches this.

He needs to reassess his insistence on starting Rudoni. He's just not at it currently

Well part of it. In December they were clearly exhausted and we were running on fumes squad wise.

Get Eccles on for rudoni, that will allow torp and Grimes to be more creative and get forward

Lampard playing Lati before a premiership centre half in Wolf is shocking

My concern is he's too set in his ways and reluctant to change.

We are at a real crossroads point

Were Watford, Wrexham, Ipswich?

Looking better with the ball although I forgot Torp was playing. He's breaking up play well but he's not in the game going fwd. Rudoni is just nowhere.

It's been a very poor signing considering we spent £4M.

Been the same for weeks. Want 6 touches instead of playing it quick.

Onyeka would really fit a place in that midfield. He's the sort of profile we need.

I’m sorry but Esse has been dreadful.

We need to tweak what is happening now we signed Esse. You're not going to get any where near the amount of defensive work out of him as you get with Sakamoto.

Either the fullbacks need to be less attacking and Grimes needs to stop playing quarterback and move more into CM
OR
Grimes continues to play as deep as he is and the fullbacks have to do more offensively, on the overlap with their wingers.

Just don't feel like the plan is clear for the players when we have the ball. Sometimes we have a back 5 and are forced long by the lack of central options other times we have Grimes, and a fullback going forwards and get left short at the back. It looks like we lack some clarity on individual roles.

We have looked brighter going forward in the last ten minutes, although still shaky at the back.

It's important that we get the next goal.

One team that breaks with purpose. One team that needs forty passes before getting it into the box. Which one will win?

Reluctant to change the shape yes but the tempo and playing style is miles off what we were doing earlier on. I don’t get it
