Think I’d drop Rudoni for a CB in this one because he hasnt looked himself yet I wonder if he’s not fully recovered, I think Brau needs to start over Bidwell for this game and that requires another CB in there so fingers crossed Bobby is back if not Im happy with Lati starting. But we need to switch it on and if we do I can see us smashing them as they’re very poor on the road and we should have smashed them when we were on the receiving end

Playing at home, I would like to see Simms and Wright start as a front 2 if we're going to drop Rudi. Have emc and sakamoto on the wings in a 442, Just think at home play attacking and let them deal.with us.

We've won 8 in a row at home playing 4 at the back and our current most dangerous player is a winger. Only way we change is if EMC isn't fit to start.

Exactly I have Saka and EMC starting wide of a forward but with Rudi getting a rest and Brau getting a run out?

Without wishing to put a dampener on our incredible performances this season our record against the two East Anglian clubs since our return to the Championship reads as follows:-

Played 14
Won 0
Drawn 3
Lost 11
For 10
Against 30.

Frank has managed to dispose of a lot of this clubs previous hoodoos; Preston, West Brom and Swansea spring to mind so it is high time we manage to win our first fixture against an East Anglian club since our return to the Championship in 2020.

Hoodoos aside, I think we’ll beat Ipswich on Monday. Our home form should too strong for their weak away form. We need to get one over Ipswich for the visit earlier in the month as I think both managers would recognise the result was far more comprehensive than the performances.

At home, we’ll get the 50:50s that’ll tip the tie in our favour.

Wouldn’t leave much attacking threat on the bench though

3-0.

You heard it here first. Totally reversal of the game down there and I think we will put on a show.

I would be surprised if he puts faith in Brau for this, it'll be Bidwell. Bidwell was fine in the Swansea game, crossing aside.

Complete nonsense, Bidwell was fine yesterday.

He was fine against average at best opposition . Ipswich will provide tougher test.

would rather the more athletic KKh offering more pace going both ways.

All the pressure is on Ipswich to get a result if we beat them that's a 16 point gap,So a draw is a great result but hopefully we have a beginning of the season display and fricking batter them early few goals please.

A ref who doesn’t bottle big decisions is vital I think. Hopefully the appointment reflects that.

I don’t think Ipswich will feel like they need a win this one.

January is their big opportunity to climb the table because they have 4 home games where they will be expect to pick up near maximum points.

Having two right footed players on the left would make the team seem very imbalanced

Rudi and Saka are my worry. Both are off form but not a lot we can do as only got one RW and no backup AM unless its Eccles.

What I would do:

Rushworth

MvE Wolf/Thomas Kitching Brau

Torp Grimes

Sakamoto EMC

Simms Wright

What Frank will do:

Rushworth

MvE Wolf/Thomas Kitching Bidwell

Torp Grimes

Sakamoto Rudoni EMC

Wright

Either way think we win this one - 2-0.

More similar to our standard 4-2-3-1 with Haji dropping off Simms in my head but potentially also similar 4-2-2-2 that lots of high pressing sides play.

I’d like to see Simms and Haji up top together to see how it would work.

KKH should be starting left back or left wing back.

can’t have bidders going up against Clarke/philogene.

clear Brau is not trustworthy yet, the saints game was simple - just hold position don’t jump out, tackle and block.

even yesterday at end he jumped out of position towards end leaving over load.

Lamps uses round pegs in round holes, which is one of the reasons he has been successful. Playing KKH on the left is a risk, as he has rarely played there.
Two full games in three days may be a step too far for Bidders. Depends on flu casualties.
Philogene and Clarke play predominantly left wing, although Clarke can switch to the right. I expect Clarke to come on as a sub. I think we will adjust accordingly.
