Having a big fuck off squad allows you to do this in ways most teams in the league can’t.

I think he has. He’s been the only one winning battles in midfield

They are getting so much time in midfield. Their players first touch was about 10 yards from him and he still got it.

The space between torp, grimes and rudoni is massive.

With both rudoni and Wright anonymous it means it is just coming back at us every time

He’s not at it and hasn’t been for weeks. Eccles is the sensible option to bring in for him and at least he will get stuck in and do some dirty work.

Rudoni is hiding and taking himself out of the game.
Torp is being bypassed because Rudoni is nowhere to be seen (often out wide) and Torp is having to go higher leaving Grimes on his own.

Brau is killing us every time he has the ball - passing straight into crowds of players.

EMC is being bullied and everything is short of Wright.

A lot to be done here.

I'd sit Eccles or Torp in with Grimes and whoever isn't there play higher up. (Rudoni off)

Greaves is a winger - playing higher up so stifling MVE and Saka who are having to look after him and Clarke.

Either keep it like this or be brave....

I think Sakamoto has been really poor.

Part of me wants to go to a box midfield with EMC at the tip but that would expose Brau more.

if we lose this it will give extra wings to ipswich - a draw is a good result here (please win CCFC)

Really poor performance, completely out played. They are closing us down forcing errors with our ball retention yet we are not closing down allowing them space. It looks like they have an extra man.

Stupidly good save from Rushy and we are still in it. I’d consider a formation change but not sure we will. We just need to up our levels and stop showing them too much respect.

Grimes has essentially looked like the only midfielder at times, up against 3 Ipswich midfielders.

I’m begging our fans not to start turning on players like Rudi because they’re out of form.

We know what he’s capable of. Get behind him.

To be fair to brau. He's playing it into where the striker should be getting it to feet. Wright isn't interested in that though.

He needs to come off, continuing to play him when hes so obviously way off form isnt doing him any favours.

Likewise Sakamoto

(Watch him score now)

We just aren't getting close to them at all. Regrettably Rudoni has been a passenger , Eccles would give more energy. Midfield is getting carved open too easily . But for Grimes and obviously Rushworth things would have been a lot worse. Thankfully 0-0 at HT . Big team talk for Frank .

If we lose this and beat Charlton we’ll have got 10 points from games 21-25. Which isn’t bad for a poor month really.

0-0 at half time against the second best team in the league. I really struggle to see why we’re wetting the bed. This will literally be our toughest test for the rest of the season. A draw would be a great result, but I still think we’ll win it. We will improve second half whilst Ipswich at their best couldn’t score.

Prepared to get my head bitten off but both Wright and Rudoni are absolute passengers right now and have done nothing for weeks to justify their inclusion in the team. Eccles and Simms both deserve the starts over them right now.
Not excusing Torp who has been crap tonight

We were on top in the away game for the first hour, and still lost by 3 goals. Hopefully the reverse is happening tonight.
