It’s not the results ffs, it’s the way in which we gifted both teams chances and goals. It could have been 5 against Leeds and the goals we gifted today were absolutely shocking. If we hadn’t have made stupid mistakes we might have picked up 2 results. Stop making out it’s because both Leeds and Ipswich are as good as Barcelona

If we hadn’t made mistakes we probably still lose both. Disregarding the mistakes Leeds were by far the better team and Ipswich had the better of the game today.

You don’t get any points for a spirited loss.

What’s your point?

Unless we get promoted we’re never going to be in a position to expect a result against the likes of Leeds and Ipswich, the difference in resources is massive.

Just some stupid posts in here today
nothing to do with resources, just bad tactics, these player are doing what they're told by Frank and being negative and sitting back is by design. Why not get on the front foot like against watford and put some pressure on defenders, like teams do to us, or maybe we're the only team with shit cb's and no midfield? Elite tactician?? hmmmmm not too sure.

Leeds were otherwise wasteful and Dovin was on form, they needed the gifts to score.

I’m pretty sure the 2 players who combined for their 4th goal have a combined transfer value not far off £40m. You can claim real resources don’t make a difference but they clearly do.

Extremely soft. Watched it again and still can't see much in it. There's a second or two between his shot and the goal, not sure what he's meant to do.

That was a demonstration of loose passes and defenders who are not rapid enough to deal with quality attackers.

It was. Mental disallowing that goal but not calling a foul on Binks for the third.

We did but we also had our best forward playing and our best midfielder, which we didn't today or on Wednesday.

Seriously ? We HAD to rest players today, the players he HAD to bring in are nowhere near good enough,at least give him the tools first, and going by his first signing we’re on the right path, hard to be an elite tactician when you’ve got Eccles, da silva, Lati on the pitch at the same time

Said on CWR their supposed reserve side today was in the main the team that got them promoted last season . We need to be realistic where we are ..

It literally won’t matter if we beat QPR

The resources are the difference, that’s why we had players like Dasilva, Lati RWB, Burroughs, Raphael etc and they had the likes of Philogene, Phillips, Szmodics.

And then no doubt they’d have been some complaining that he’d changed a winning team.

So we drop to what non league level when we miss a couple? I’m not asking to win again I’m asking that there’s a modicum of effort from the management team and the players on the pitch to try and win.

Am I being harsh to suggest that Dovin might have done better for the last two goals?

Yes, this means I want Collins back in goal before anyone asks.

Why change a team that’s won 5 on the bounce ? no Manager would have put grimes straight in, not sure what your point is

Funny how every other lower league side can give their higher league opponents a game today isn’t it?

Closest it’s gonna get to KO

Ipswich took kick and this is just seconds later. Look how high our back line is already. Mental.

Must have loaned in £35m players for the game. No other way it’s possible.

This match has done nothing more than confirm that an MVE injury would cause real problems , the high line doesn't work and BTA really isn't up to leading the line. Thankfully our best players are to return but the back up isn't great.

Looks like Jake Bidwell gonna be out for a while, have to play Burroughs instead of DJS.

Can't be any worse.

Not really... last year:

We beat Wolves... higher

We beat Maidstone... much lower

We beat Weds... same.

Didn't find it funny if there was an upset in the same round.
