Anyone wearing a Manchester United shirt and now is trying to get all the attention from our promotion can get to fuck. Exactly the type of person you would have to stand up to back in the school years when they were mocking you for supporting CCFC.
Never trust them, same like those who went to watch Wasps.
Agree, not going to go at people who are less obsessive than weirdos like us on here and probably lost a lot of interest in the club when they were playing the likes of Newport and Forest Green. That's just the way some people are and we need/needed those people back honestly. Anyone who started 'supporting' another club though, can get to fuck. Including a good friend of mine unfortunately, although tbf he has stayed to fuck and i will continue to gatekeep from him and every time we get into football chat now i let him know what a c**t he is and what he missed. Hilariously the club he latched on to was Spurs so this season could be an all timer.
I agree with the sentiments on 'influencer culture' but ultimately, you decide on what you watch. Every browser comes with a back button and a close tab button. Use them if you don't like something. You can even use built in tools on YouTube and social media to block someone and stop them appearing on your feed etc.
These people make their living from people watching their content, if it bothers you that much, don't watch it.
I think most people are more annoyed by the fact that these people end up representing the club to a wider audience than just just disliking their content personally.

The whole vaping regardless or who's around isnt a Lee problem. Its a vapers problem! They ALL do it. Even indoors. Its gross. But because its not "smoking" they think its socially acceptable! This really should go in the "things that annoy you" thread!
I cannot stand vlogging and influencer culture, it is not for me - But it is a part of modern day life and the only one that has documented the full journey is Alex Craig
the worst one is the guy with the beard, spends more time recording himself and looking at his camera than he does watching the game. Very odd, ticket should go to someone that actually wants to watch us play
Every time we have one of these moments where the club is getting a lot of attention, parts of the fanbase mobilise into policing who is and who isn't part of the fanbase.
It's a pretty miserable trait and I think like so many of these nasty behaviours says more about their own feelings of inadequacy than those of the people they're attacking.
Ultimately, what has got us to record attendances at Wembley, regular sell outs at home is people coming back to the club who were not attending previously. Their return has been part of the story. Even if it it wasn't, policing who is and who isn't a real fan is just a waste of energy.
