I do not think that many true fans would disagree with you at present. We appear to lack true leadership and direction. You appear extremely happy about this !!!!

Irony lives!!! I will say though that what ever criticism is levelled at our beleagered lot at the moment, cannot be deflected or defended. I don't know about any one else, but i am finding it increasingly more difficult to 'Justify' us in terms of rapidly diminishing status. 'Ever decreasing circles'.

Its been the same for me for years. An 'in' joke with my friends, that i say at the start of every season " i really feel like we are coming back this year" and every single year its the same story. Languishing and flirting with relegation. However bad we normally are, this has to be the worst form weve been in since relegation? 1 win in 13 is it? Thats astonishing. However close the games have been. When we won games it was onyl by a goal, so it works both ways. Im genuinly afraid.

Fair enough, but look at the history... 1987... and purple patch in the 60's that is it. Bloody hell it's hard been a Cov fan

I can't be bothered with Coventry City anymore. I was saying about three years ago 'I can't face yet another season of lower mid-table nowhere near the playoffs' and we've just had another three of them. And we also didn't try in the League Cup this year, which was totally ridiculous. I have been to hundreds of Coventry games over the last seventeen years but my support is at its lowest ever ebb. I just want something to happen, just once.

Theres always next season... and the next... and the next... you never know one of them we might do a Blackpool or get to the later stages of the FA/League cup and get the chance to play a top premiership team and perhaps fill the Ricoh if we do.

Tell you what folks, all these comments are depressingly familiar. Every year I tell myself (and anyone else who will listen) that this year will be different, this will be the one and by season's end we have gone into free-fall and end up in a relegation dog fight. Name any year you like , chances are that is the story of the season. Still, as you say La La there's always next season.

I was actually raised on success as a City fan - my first evr game we won 9 -0 and then I watched us get promoted from the 3rd division to the 1st and stay there. For years I watched top teams week in week out, ther were highs and lows, but we were unique, until eventually we arrived at 1987.

Then Richardson arrived and its been downhill ever since.

The state of this once proud club makes you want to cry. If new investment isn't forthcoming we will go nowhere. We need help now!

I could point out that Coventry were in a hell of a mess when Derrick Robins arrived, but 2 men of flair and vision gave us a club to be proud of.

I could say a group of crooks took us down the pan, but they're a bit litigatious so I won't.
