Embarrassing tonight, not a single good performance out there. The simple fact is we don't have a very good team.

How hard is it to create chances? Score goals? I watched ssn tonight, so many goals went in. Through balls, long balls, defensive howlers, crosses whipped in and half cleared to a midfield who follows us and smashes it in. I'm sitting there, having watched 3 away games and 1 home and thinking, how the hell can we not do that?? This worry started in pre season and it's getting worse. How can we be in mid October and our strikers who actually are officially cov players, have 1 go between them which was from a ridiculous back pass fuck up at Grimsby. Accrington conceded 3 tonight yet if we were still playing now we wouldn't have scored from Sat

The fact that everything you've said is true and yet I still came away with a better impression of him than most kind of sums up that game for me.

Even when Ponticelli came on, there was one where he ran out of the box and then back in and lost his marker and pointed at the floor exactly where he wanted it. He would have had a bit to do to get a shot off but Duck just had a half arsed shot that was blocked.

I could have done what Duck did tonight, it was literally just have an awful first touch and try a shot from anywhere.

Noone makes any kind of run for him tbf

The one near wnd that was high and wide had desperation written all over it.

Robins has to start taking flack for these performances tbh. Players too of course

They were making runs for him, Ponticelli did for one towards the end. He made a few decent runs off the ball and everytime was pointing where to put it for him.

Him and Jones have no intention of passing when they do that, they don't even look up most of the time.

Tactically inept tonight, wrong team from the start. We were baffled when we seen duck, mcnaulty and boooozon on th same pitch and to be honest I think they were confused themselves! No one know who should be playing wide, then Jodi switches wings at will and confuses matters further.. few noticeable errors:

1) three strikers ? One playing out wide which was a waste
2) duck played too wide most of the game
3) we seem to give jones too much freedom which breaks structure, its confusing his own team
4) two defensive midfielders, should have played Stevenson instead of Kelly
5) no arrangement for covering our wing backs, they get too exposed.

FG were poor tonight and I can't remember a shot on our goal. Burger had a mare all night but I will leave that there. Biamou as much as he missed two clear cut headers shouldn't get booed off the pitch, poor show from the fans on that one.

He couldn't even get that right, it is a bit of a habit for him he nearly ran me and my son over at the rugby friendly last year.

Don't agree Stevenson for Kelly, he did that on Saturday and it made no difference at all.

Wow, never expected anyone to advocate not playing Kelly in this team devoid of anyone who can play a quick first time pass.

I thought the crowd turned on the team far too quickly tonight. We didn't play well but we have no right to beat Forest Green Rovers just because we once spent 30 plus years in the top flight and are a 'big' club in League Two. What good comes of booing Biamou? If you can't handle where we are stay away.

Our strikers are crap. Agree with Robins that we still had enough chances to win the game. Biamou and McNulty are never going to score enough. Biamou is shit, but can win a few headers. Genuinely no idea what McNulty is showing and supposed to be contributing to the team. Nazon seems to have one decent game in five. Seems to think he's too good for this league. He definitely isnt.

Whenever we are 1-0 in a game we spend the last 15 minutes desperately defending an onslaught as the other team goes all out to equalise. Why don't we do the same when we're losing?

Because he took the only aerial threat off, so everything just came back at us. If he was taking Biamou off, get Vincenti stood up there knocking everything down for the 4 others around him to try and get onto.

Play Kelly 15 yards higher from the start and relieve him of his defensive duties and we'll start battering teams.

The ref didn't help, he was ignoring all the play acting and time wasting which killed the game and made it so stop/start

Think we should all have a good look at the Luton highlights from the last 2 games tomorrow, just to remind ourselves how it should be done. 11 goals, only 1 from the demi-god himself Collins. I wonder if they're jealous of all our clean sheets now.

I think we could have been there all night without scoring, but the ref was pathetic in allowing their time-wasting and stopping the game. It started as soon as they scored and nobody even got spoken to until he booked someone in injurty time.

Didn't help with some completely stupid free kicks we gave away after the ball had gone or when their player was in trouble and going nowhere. Gave them opportunity to milk it. Brainless.

I like the comment saying Adam Armstrong would have scored a hatful tonight, he knows that because he saw the BBC page.

3rd game where Robins first word has been ‘disappointed’?

Then again I’m sure Geoff has asked the same ‘what’s your emotion’ question for the 3rd game running too!

Very inquisitive journalism! Even went on to ask if Robins felt we needed to strengthen, and Robins rightly pointed out ‘we can’t do anything about it’ since the windows are closed to us!!

Clueless he is!! And Geoff

I think he’s become complacent given that LB is the one position we’ve had no competition for so his position has almost been a given!

Be interesting to see what comes of Haynes returning!

Agree but he was very poor tonight. Hopefully Haynes can light a fire back in him. Happy with grimmer the other end though

I feel as though I’ve constantly repeating myself, but we are so tactically poor it’s ridiculous:

ALL WE DO IS PASS TO JONES (AND SOMETIMES DUCK) AND PRAY HE DOES SOMETHING.

We must be easy to play against, especially games like tonight where Jones and Duck weren’t particularly on it.

Biamou is receiving a lot of criticism, but he offers something in the air, but half the time nobody is near him to take advantage. Granted he should have scored today. Also you should never boo your own players, especially someone young and new to professional football.

I know everyone sees JP as the saviour, but he won’t prosper under the current tactics, he seems to make good runs, but we don’t have the creativity to find him. He also drifted out to the wing too much today.

People are now calling for Vincenti. The same player who many were desperate to take out of the team? While he’s an outlet in the air, I don’t think he’s the answer, especially not as a winger.

Time to motivate and review tactics Robins.

I called for Vincenti the minute he took Biamou off and we started lumping it forward. Common sense really if we are chasing the game.
