Just be thankful then that people who do feel this way are now able to live how they feel that they should and are much happier for it

But do try and educate yourself if you can as you will see its such a complex issue that has been going on for years and years

Can't be arsed educating myself about something that I have absolutely no interest in whatsoever. If someone can't look between their legs and decide if they're male or female, then I worry for the future generations. And I'm not talking about being gay. That is something that has been in the forefront for decades and I would class as "feelings and emotions", something I can understand, but when a decision has to be made as to whether you are male or female as in "gender", geez!

So then why comment on things you don't understand or by your own admission have no interest in as it's just not helpful for anyone

Bonkers questions! I guess a burger van will be as dripping in lard after Covid as it was before?!? Why only allow one option for travel? And why just leave other with no opportunity to say what? (we travel by horse and cart to games, maybe?)

Anyway at the risk of adding to it all, the last question had the option I felt comfortable ticking, so I ticked it.

Yeah all good saying that suicide for marginalised people is a bad thing and they should be supported but as soon as something comes up that you don't understand best off taking the piss out of it.

#BeKind didn't last very long did it.

Tbh I think it’s the “genderless” who don’t understand. But we’ve over digressed now.

But there is a difference between biological and emotional/psychological 'genders'. The difference has come about because of gender stereotypes foisted on people over centuries that has led to a distinction between the two. If we'd never had the 'expectations' of boys and girls psychological gender wouldn't be a thing and it could be used to relate to biology.

4 years ago I had a child in my class who left school on a Friday as, let's say , John, and came in the following Monday, Katie.
This was a year 5 child. I knew it was coming, as did the headteacher. We dealt with it sympathetically and sensitively. It involved weeks of planning, talking to parents , not only of that particular child but others of classmates who were very concerned. We had to ovecome problems such as toilets, changing for swimming etc, reaction of other pupils, parents, friendship circles etc .
Do don't lecture me about this subject .I know what it involves and the support it needs.
However, even in those following 4- 5 years, the world has gone slightly mad.

So then if you know why make derogatory comments about it, you can see why I thought you didn't have any experience in it when you come out with statements like you did but I apologise for the that

Derogatory ? I was a really sending up Houch with a bit of banter.
I've never ever shown anything but sympathy to anyone who is not comfortable with whom they are. The issue is, is it genuine or the product of a society where change may actually be encouraged.
Yes I do laugh a lot at surveys that ask you what gender you are and give you a dozen different choices because I wonder for what reason .
You can buy bikes specifically for male and female, but not really any other type. Is that wrong ?

I apologize for the derogatory comment, I read it in the wrong way and jumped to a conclusion that I shouldn't have done due to the nature of the conversation

The male/female items is an age old routed problem that hopefully will go the way of the dinosaurs as people should be given the choice as to how to represent themselves hence why the options the op put in his survey is awesome as things need to change with the times

Because I call out a bigot when I see one and still don't understand why you needed to make such illinformed statements and then get so defensive when someone calls you out for it

Try and put yourself in the shoes of one of the people that you openly mock and imagine how they feel, how would you feel if someone who felt that read your comments, would you say that to their face?

This isn't really the place to argue this one out... but this is plainly bollocks (excuse the pun). Describe yourself how you like, but you are biologically (if not mentally) born as a male or female. We are after all animals, and the vast majority of animals, and unless i'm mistaken, all mammals, are born either male or female.

That's life... if you want to describe yourself as a "teapot" to use a phrase i read above, then so be it, but you're born male or female, and if that is dinosaur thinking, then i'm a dinosaur...

Which toilet does a 9 year old child who has identified as a girl , having been born as a boy , use at school ?
Should that child have the right, money no object let's pretend, to their own specific washroom facilities, and therefore so should every other category of people.
Imagine a corridor full of toilets for different groups.
....then there's the symbols to put on the doors.
Its laughable.

Your not alone. If you look at all government reports, let’s say Covid Reports, ‘sex’ is reported as male Or female. Some way to go....

How am I a "bigot"? You could just as well be a bigot as far as I'm concerned, with your stupid ideas of "identification"! Like I and a few others have said, you are either male or female. End of! Not a teapot, AAA battery, Philips screwdriver, a wardrobe or whatever the fuck you pretend to be! Stop trying to preach high class ideas mate. It really doesn't suit you! You just sound stupid.

Thinking if there was someone who opened a drop down menu and saw male or female, they’d be angry because what they consider themselves to be isn’t an option. It blows my mind.

I love being close minded. Helps me get through the day! Oh, and if this issue is "real", it's only because snowflakes like you that have caused it and brought the false feelings to light. I'll say it again and will keep saying it, you are either MALE or FEMALE. If you look down and see a dick, then you are male. If you see a minge, you are female. Live with it!
