Doesn't matter if it was a penalty or not.

Doesn't matter if it was offside or not.

You play like that, you deserve fuck all.

it wasn’t a penalty but I’m pretty certain their second was offside

Yeah, their second was offside. Was a foul on EMC if it was out the box, but they just don't get given in the box. Would be a nailed on foul if it was EMC on the defender.

Never easy supporting this club is it..

Thing is, even though we didn't play very well (very poor in the first half especially), we still only lost to an absolute gift of a goal to them and to a wicked deflection.

And we should have had two clear penalties. Thomas and Mason-Clark.

So annoying..

Come off it - it was utter shite as we have been most of the season

Really really want to say fuck you to Ringofsteel and co regarding the absolute pelters I've taken on here after Luton, however it doesn't feel right dining out on us being shit

Maybe people may realise we're a poor side this year and wins against sides with 10 men don't change that

Utter shite? Even in the second half? Nonsense.

We didn't play very well, but we were much better in that second period and had a number of chances to draw level.

As I say, lost to an absolute gift and a deflected goal.

It’s really clear. You play Torp if it’s five at the back. Saka if it’s 4. Why is that so difficult for them to see. Personally I hope that’s the end of the five at the back scenario.

In my annoyed state, I’m blaming that defeat firmly on Rudoni.

Home defeat against a very poor quality team is not acceptable. That first half was shocking. There is no excuse for the languid tempo. Derby were first to every second ball.
Our subs provided more creativity. Why did Sheaf and Eccles only start to go past players and progress the ball forward when we were 2 down?
Some very poor individual performances again as well as the team as whole.

If only points obtained against teams with 11 men counted we'd be joint bottom.

This isn't a team that will be bothering the top half let alone the top 6.

With the alarming amount of soft goals we conceed we will be much closer to the bottom 3 than anyone would have thought a couple of months back.

Shite.

MVE must be taking Valium or something, so subdued even when we’re chasing a game.

Sheaf only remembered he was a good midfielder in the last 20 mins when Derby dropped back and gave him some space and time. Then he gets into the final third of the pitch and gets altitude sickness or something

BTA lacked any real quality and even though Wright didn’t have a good game, he still looked more likely to score.

Derby came with a plan and it worked and it’s part of the reason they are doing okay this season. We have never been able to do what they do well.

DaSilva did okay when he came on but you can see why he’s not fancied with how he dealt with the Mendez Laing run.

Could've easily changed shape to 433 in the middle of the first half without making a sub or playing anyone massively out of position. It's the unwillingness to do something like that which grates on me over the long term. You shouldn't need 40 mins after they scored to spot that the shape was a disaster tonight. Too passive. Too cautious.

We lost to an awful team who couldn't buy a win away from home up to now.

It doesn't matter if their goals were freaks or world class. We never looked like beating them, it was pathetic.

The Mason-Clark was too.

The defender clearly pushed him in the back and to the floor

Absolute wank from the off ! Another demonstration of how poorly we bought.
Dovin, no better than we had.
BTE, headless chicken
Mason Clarke, bang average
Rudoni, always wants too many touches
Players bought to hopefully turn a profit….none will !!
A squad full of players in a shop window….. but no actual team !

It's got to be mentality, they just can't seem to get to grips with any sort of expectations. On paper we win that game every day of the week.

We seem better under pressure, can't get my head around it.

Maybe we need a psychologist in

We weren't much better. Derby sat back and allowed us to play in front of them, which we did causing them barely any danger at all. A good goal out of nowhere is all we produced.

Their game plan worked and a non-league manager could come up with the same because we're so predictable.
