A win here would show some intent. Another one of those banana skins we'd normally slip up on.

Willis to score a hat trick, get 4 men sent off and clear 7 off the line, because he's bloody brilliant!

1-0 victory
Dominate possession create more chances and a midfielder to score.

A cloudy day in South Yorks and looking forward to heading down to Cov in next couple of hours.
Looking forward to the match and hoping for a good convincing win
If any of you are sitting at home thinking "shall I go today" get your bums up the Ricoh and support the team
Forget Fisher, SISU, the price of pies, car parking, Wasps, CCC etc and all the other excuses. Get up there and let's get a £10k gate and sing our hearts out.
PUSB.

Most people will forget about the things you have mentioned but will still be faced with paying £26 when they arrive at the turnstiles.

So you think that will be a factor.
Shall I go or not because it will cost me extra £2. I don't think so.
Just get your bum up there and have a half less beer tonight if you are skint.

I'm in the Casino, buzzing about today, honestly think we might get a big win, we're due to give someone a spanking the amount of chances we're creating, hopefully it will be today (5-0 would be nice netting me £1000)

Everyone is too confident and that makes me think we're going to fuck it up. Feels like Newport all over again.

This worries me slightly too, that said we're doing alright at the Ricoh at the minute, I think if we want to be towards the top of this league we do need to go into games with confidence (even if history dicatates that it's a massively bad idea)

Us to win and over 2.5 goals looks a decent bet, albeit only at 3/1.

As is the way with Coventry fans we are extremes; both positive and negative. Saying that, it's justified today after two good wins, especially the manner in which we did so on Tuesday.

I'll never forget the JPT game against Crewe, we owe them for that, so I'm going 3-0, Biamou, McDonald and Duck.

Any news on Stokes injury?

I'd drop Devon KE to bench, move Duke out wide and bring McNulty back in for this one.

Someone is due a tonking. Games V Crewe have over the years generated lots of goals.

So my guess is a 0-0 draw

Would love to see lots of goals, but I’d take a 1-0 won in off the keepers backside after Biamou shoots on the volley from the edge of the box, but hits the woodwork (because he’s unlucky like that)

And Newport all over again? Where we only lost due to an absolute howler of an error?

Newport set-up to frustrate us, yes, but we only lost the game due to an horrendous mistake by O'Brien.

Never feel too confident this early but hopefully we will put in a solid performance.

Would like to see biamou get one.

If we get a £10k gate,I calculate that to about 450 attendance
Poor turnout

Crewe can set up to frustrate us all they want, they've conceded 9 in two games. Whether they set up to frustrate or not, they can't stop leaking goals. We get an early goal here this ones over

A solid 2-0 win and up to 3rd by the end of the day. Do nicely.

If all players are fit like stokes then I see no reason to change anything.

---------------Burge----------------
Grimmer--Willis--McDonald--Stokes
---DeKE---Doyle(c)---Kelly----JJ---
---------Biamou----Nazon----------

I'm hopeful of a win but got that niggling feeling that this won't be straight forward.

2-1 win after going behind to a Chris Porter goal. Biamou to get his first to equalise and McNulty to get the winner off the bench late on

find that a bit of a strange statement CC4L. I wouldn't be surprised if we drew but surely we shouldn't be content with that if we are to mount a serious challenge for the automatics.

I think what he means is being "Happy" with a draw, regardless who we were playing, if we were playing Chelsea in the FA Cup, I'd never be Happy with a draw, content yes, but I'd only ever be happy with a winning result

Would be really harsh on Duke to shunt him out wide after 3 goals in 4 games, I thought he looked quite ineffective on the left against Yeovil.
