Alright guys I've decided to create a Facebook page to try and spread the word for the (COTD) City On Tour Day 2011 / 2012

Basically i just thought i would grab the bull by the horns so to speak and get something out there and try and get some feedback on the idea, please read the 'info' tab on the Facebook page and leave some comments on anything that you believe may need changing, also if you could like the page it would be greatly appreciated as it would help enormously to get the ball rolling on what would really be some day if we could get 6,000 of the SBA at Oakwell singing Thorn and the lads on.

Cheers guys

Luckily there is a train station next to the ground. You should sort out transport & stuff.

Yeah i'm going to send an email to the club over the next few days to see if they can reduce their ever growing prices for the clubs official coaches just as a one off for this game.

We should attempt this for the first away game to Brum and sell out - No doubt it will. We need support straight from the start, and start as we mean to go on

Good idea though.

Sounds like a good idea, I'm in! You have more than enough time to make this a success. I would say you will need to be an active user on facebook and twitter for the whole time though to keep it in the back of peoples minds. Get it trending

I think Oakwell is a good choice as we usually beat them and they have a low roof and bashing boards so it won't be hard to create a great atmosphere.

Should be a FB event rather than a page in my opinion- people like pages constantly then forget about them!

Events get logged and reminders appear in the week leading up to it.

Plus events show a list of definitely attending / maybe / not, which people can then add to by inviting their own friends
