BTA clearly said ‘it’s my hammy’ to one of the other players. Given he didn’t try to carry on, I’d imagine it’ll be 3-4 weeks. Not ideal but I think having Kaine as an option to play on the wings til Jan will be useful

Apparently he said to the BBC CWR that he may have caught it early but when it was raised to Lampard in the post-match interview, he had no idea.

Hopefully it’s a better case scenario and it’s a precaution. In any case, Simms is in good form so if there going to be an ideal period where Haji and BTA is injured, it’s now.

Goalie
Flat back four
Couple of yeomans in the middle
Flair on the flanks
Big man small man (kid from the 90s... would loved to have seen Big Dunc & Ian Wright as a pair)

I would not be shocked to see KKH and Allen getting the start Saturday. Tatsu, Torp, Rudoni from the bench Wright and BTA not involved in the squad, Brau back in it.

I have had a good think about it over night and I would start Rushworth in goal.

When do the yellow cards reset? Worries me as Ipswich next after Sat and need Kitch to not get booked

Struggling with forwards for Saturday with Tats also going off injured according to Frank (head injury due to the grimes shot).

Potentially going to have to roll out the old Robins special and play the box.

How nice is it to have a player of the calibre of Rudoni to bring off the bench. He changed the game today for us.

I would start with the same midfield, hopefully go a goal or two up and kick off and send Rudi on for Eccles or Sakamoto at 50/55 to kick on another gear.

Another set of fans I actually like. They’ve had a really decent start, but I think now have some defensive issues with injuries? I’m assuming that goes some way to explain their last two results.

Will be tougher than some people think, but I think we’ll edge it 16-12. Simms with 13 and a Kitching hat-trick.

Rudoni to start imo. I'm not sure about the modern phased return idea.

Eccles was out for a longer period yet was back in the starting line up after one sub appearance (started in place of Rudoni funnily enough).

I don't actually disagree with that. People make out he's been out of action for a year. Two months is a decent chunk of time out injured but it's not really that long.

After around 4 months out Wright started his third game back for us vs Derby, then started again that week and scored a hattrick vs Sunderland.

Some players can be sacrificed though. Not my precious Rudoni. Keep him in bubble wrap and increase his minutes in one minute increments per game.

Took a few whacks, as did Torp. You can see why Doug will need to bring some bodies in during the January window, as we probably only need to achieve mid-table form to get autos. The only thing likely to derail us is injuries. We have 40 points, and anything between 45-48 more will probably do( based on scribblings on the back of a fag packet!)

Ipswich have that replayed game against Blackburn a few days before they play us. As most know they were 1-0 at the 80 th min and with 10 men. It's ridiculous the whole game is being replayed. Ipswich will start with 11 men again and probably win the game . I hope Blackburn are motivated to take at least a point of them.

Got to assume BTA will be out and still to early for Wright so Simms needs to do 90 mins again- at least there is a weeks break after Charlton.
Allows Simms a decent rest and hopefully at least a bench start for Wright at Ipswich.
Can see KKH coming in for Milan and Tats gets a rest somehow but Bobby, Kitch, Da Silva, Grimes all need to dig in and start.

Andy Turner saying Sakamoto came off with a head injury from the grimes shot and could be a concussion, which would make him unavailable for 14 days?

Same team but EMC for BTA assuming he’s not fit. Rudi on for half an hour.

BTA and Tats will be out.

So suspect it will be EMC and KKH to come in. Maybe Rudoni will get his first start.

Won't Tats depend on whether it was concussion or not?
