That's not bottling it, that's just incompetence. It's hard to think of a more clear cut penalty.

Yeah that’s fair enough. Like I said, he missed the big decision, but he’s largely been on top of the persistent fouling. Needs to get his cards out of his pocket second half if it continues though.

Ref has just watched that decision back in his changing room and has immediately handed in his resignation to the PGMOL and the 4th official will take his place for the second half.

He’s afraid to make the right decisions which is a disgrace. Charlton are manhandling us and basically playing basketball, but the ref doesn’t even care. Idiot.

Ok I lied, in back at half time!

Great comeback. We're just such a threat that even a shite ref can't stop us

Great finish Eccles and Simms is on fire

Rudoni is playing well

One more goal will kill them off I think

P s imagine saying jds and emc don't offer us anything down the left! Both been great

Rudoni is playing well but I don’t think the right hand side is his position.

You can guarantee he will book our player as soon as we leave a foot in.

Or if we start time wasting

The penalty. The handball in the area would have been harsh. He missed the handball by the same player (Carey) which was outside of the area though.

I have to say when people talk about players improving under Lampard, Eccles is rarely mentioned, but he's looking like a proper player atm.

Needs must. He's growing into the game and getting grips to the possession by end of half I think

If he can't last 90 maybe we go to wing backs around 65 mins?

Great comeback, we do look vulnerable at the back though. Chuffed Simms has bagged another. Really lack balance without Sakamoto. Milan is struggling a bit without him too.

I could give the ref the slight benefit of the doubt on the pen, it was absolutely one, but he's probably 70 yards behind the play.

That handball though, that was right in front of him, with the player clearly moving his hand towards the ball and stopping it splitting the lines. How on earth do you not give that??

We are so fluid now. The ball just didn't drop our way in the first half hour. Thoroughly deserved to go ahead.

He's got that clutch gene about him perhaps as they say in America. Comes up in big moments

For me I can't stop marvelling over jds. He's getting much more dangerous attack wise now and he is vital to this team

In fairness he is so far off play that the assistant has to give it

Honestly mate, yes, but when's the last time you've seen a linesman (asst ref) give anything...

Great half once we got going. Looked ropey as fuck at the back before that tho. Rudi trying too hard and not playing RW for me. Eccles been great since his concussion. EMC getting a lot of joy. They’re dangerous on the break reckon we’ll need another here.

Yeah, ideally youd want him getting on the end of crosses.
He is sort of playing all over the pitch.

They’ve got to be a team and he’s got to realise it’s his decision to give as ref nowhere near

They've played exactly as you'd expect a Nathan Jones team to, press high and try and score quick goals winning the ball back. We didn't look very well prepared for it and got caught in possession too much. I feel like we're still vulnerable to it but also capable of getting more goals.

Don't want to get ahead of myself but, if results stay as they currently are, we are guaranteed to be top at Christmas irrespective of results between now and then. Mad.
