Would be surprising.

He played with drogba

He used giroud at Chelsea

Why would he jump to false number 9. Simms or basette upfront it has to be

I mean I can see it being Simms as suits the style but who knows. He says he’s been reviewing his football for the last 18 months, maybes it something he wants to try

Collins is so jammy. Gone from 3rd choice to the starting keeper again by November.

Just fortunate that he’s the apparent favourite of 3 bang average keepers.

Guess team will be very similar to last few matches. unless Lampard has seen something in the last few days and goes for a massive change

I'm sure dovin will eventually become number 1 but at the moment can see why Collins isn't completely out of the reckoning.

Dropping the keeper is a big call and I don't blame lampard for not doing it in his first game

I would have picked dovin much better shot stopper than Collins, think dovin would have saved Burnley first goal

For a keeper who is apparently good with his distribution, I genuinely wouldn’t rate that part of his game any higher than Lee Burge.

If our midfielders can't learn and approve now we have one of the greatest ever midfielders as coach, then there is something seriously wrong.

If only it were that simple.. if we do see improvement it’ll be down to his ability as a coach, not the fact he was a great player

Personally would prefer Dovin. He looks our better option long term so not much point having him on the bench

Interesting how many people, myself included, who said having 3 keepers was OTT. Definitely been proved wrong on that one!

Would start Dovin purely for the fact that we have made the biggest investment in him and there’s not much difference in ability between all of them

My issue with the keeper situation, Dovin clearly has higher potential without being any weaker as a player than Wilson and Collins are right now.

If Collins or Wilson came in and we kept clean sheets and they were making several saves a game, I’d understand it, but they’re not. Surely Dovin is worth playing for the longer term reward?

The game doesn't get put on ifollow until like midnight I think. One thing you can do (if it's feasible) is to start the game on ifollow as soon as the broadcast starts and then pause it. I've done this before, for an hour or so I think, and I was able to resume the game when I got back in. Just don't refresh the page or anything or you'll lose it. Not sure how long you can keep it paused for though.

Cheers for the info bud. I'm out from about 2.30 till about 9 tonight. Think I'll just have to watch it tomorrow.

Agreed. Dovin has been pretty average so far, but Wilson has a howler in him, Collins has chocolate wrists.

There's far more upside to playing Dovin - Wilson and Collins aren't going to get any better, Dovin will. Just hope a new manager means a permanent no1 and no chopping and changing.

I wonder if Dovin has some kind of psychological issue, or homesick or something like that. I though he was ok and it seemed odd to drop him having spent money on him. Or maybe he was brought in for development. Either way I don't think there's much difference between Collins and Wilson, both average Championship keepers.

I agree that Dovin will eventually be the number 1, hopefully for a long time. I always liked it when you knew who your keeper was, the Oggy era...

The second time he was dropped was due to a suspected concussion I think

Wouldn't be surprised to see Simms upfront.
Hope he knows about the MVE, Saka combo. And that EMC plays on the left and Rudoni isn't a wingback.
I guess he will play JDS if we want to attack a lot (I'd prefer Bidwell given our defensive issues).
Please fullbacks do their defensive jobs properly and no gift goals or keeper flaps).
Forward!! Attack!!!

A cardboard cut out would of saved that goal.
I think he did magnificently well to not get in the way of it.

Looking at this season pass success rate for the GKs. Dovin 82.4% Collins 72.2% and Wilson 53.6%

Well if Collins is in goal, I hope their CF doesn’t say boo to him.
Because he is bound to jump out of the way. The fookin piece of is scared of his own shadow.

If its true, then fair fucks to Frank for realising so quickly that Binks just can not defend.
Hopefully he'll bring a left back in come January and that might stop us conceding 2 goals a game.

It would be I interesting to see Simms and Bassette up front together, that has the potential to be quite a handful for any defence.
(Provided they get service and Simms can actually give a fuck for once)

I think EMC might start on the left with Saka on the right and Simms up front. Rudoni, Sheaf and Eccles as midfield three
