I reckon we’ll lose this but Im gonna predict a 1-1 draw anyways for the sake of not backing us to lose

We bounced back against Sunderland we‘ll do the same Saturday, we’ve got a brilliant home record , was more worried about Sunderland than this one, 2-1 cov

How is predicting a result classed as negative? If I predicted Forest to beat Man U last night, was that me being negative towards Man U or just me thinking the statistically superior team will win?

The negativity mentioned is when we lose a game and suddenly our season is more or less over. Someone has to be made a scapegoat.

To me there's no negativity in predicting a win for Burnley. It's reality. They've only lost 2 league games all season. I, like many others, predicted getting a better result against Burnley than Sheffield United as we're at home. But it's not going to be easy.

Cliche, but you are only as good as your last game. Potential is the important thing. Leeds I get, big city, big crowds big club. Even Villa went down to 8k when they were in the third tier. People say Forest are big but their city is smaller than ours and is a two club city.
With billionaire owners we could be massive.
Interesting to see how the Birmingham thing pans out. Really pissed off if they overtake us.

Kind of suggests he didn't have any faith in going back to a five for that as well as this.

Just looked and they’ve only lost twice this year which is mental. Don’t think the result here will define us regardless so hope we can just play without worrying and what will be, will be.

In reality Nottingham is much bigger than Cov, but the way the city is divided into separate boroughs, means that people think the population of Nottingham is that of the city of Nottingham only. In comparison it would be a bit like Coventry's population only consisting of those living within the city's ring road. As an example did you know that the City Ground is not officially in Nottingham (its in Rushcliffe)? Rushcliffe, Gedling, Broxtowe and Arnold together with Nottingham itself has a combined population of about 750k.

The UK has added circa 2 million to its population in the last few years. The population is projected to hit about 70 million in the next few years. Clubs across the UK should be seeing an increase in attendances as there are more potential customers.

I thought the City Ground was in West Bridgford, an upmarket area.

Mental is only losing 2 games and still only being in 3rd after 39 games. They've only won 2 more than Sunderland.

Maybe for those who love football and enjoy going to games. But most people only go to games including their own clubs.

Saying that I have always gone to games with mates who support other clubs when mine isn't playing.

Burnley will have to have an off day and we will have to have everything fall our way to get any points from this one. I don't expect that to happen so think we need to pick up 11 pts from the 6 remaining games. It is still in our hands no matter result Saturday.

They do however draw a lot more of their games than Leeds or Sheffield Utd. Still in 3rd after not losing for 26 games as the evidence.

They don't just draw support from Burnley though, they've got places in East Lancashire around Burnley as well as places like Todmorden which are all strongholds.

Should be a good test against the best defence in the league, watched a few Burnley games and they’re not as dangerous as sheff utd or Leeds , just seem a well organised team who score first and hang on to the lead, can’t afford to not take your chances against these , you don’t get many, 2-1 cov

We’ve won every 12.30 kick off at home bar Sheffield utd this season and we should have beaten their ten men.
Let’s ave it 1-0 to us!!

took the missus to that game to try and sell football to her, and try and understand that feeling when we score

of course it was a 0-0 v milwall and atmosphere was toxic and she just asked me things like “what’s a nonce?” throughout

Thankfully she was too young to understand what it meant.

Being realistic we will probably be outclassed by Burnley and lose, but then again we do have it in us to perform like we did v Wolves and Man Utd, so who knows.
