Look, despite the nonsense from Collins, Kitching and Grimes today (plus the ref…), I thought we gave the team that’s currently top of the league a pretty good game. And I actually feel more confident about potentially playing them in the playoffs then I did this morning.

Same I’ve gone from “anyone but Burnley” to them being my preference in a hypothetical final I think. Need to get back to fifth first mind.

I agree, but ball retention is supposed to be his thing. I hope it’s not the kind of mistake that will be repeated, otherwise I’m not sure what he’s here for.

Collins is done.
Chance after chance, keeps being involved in if not fully culpable for some horrendous goals being conceded.
Not just this season either.
If we want to keep conceding avoidable goals - as we/he did for the back quarter after last season, and harm our chances of top six. Yes, play him through it.... But what exactly has he shown last season or this to suggest he'll get through it.

It is sad, I feel for the guy, he doesn't do it on purpose, but he is affecting Coventry City football club's - the team we support's - chances of top six.

He’s not hitting those balls that were his entire YouTube reel either to release EMC or Saka. Though neither particularly like to go through behind rather than coming short.

On a positive note, we now know that Wilson will be our no1 for the rest of this season.

Neither Collins or Wilson are good enough. It’s madness we’ve given him another two years rather than bring in a proper goalkeeper.

It isn't. We play West brom and boro at home. Win both of those and we are in a great position

And yet Wilson seemingly is still looking worse than him in training.

Agreed. Collins should have cleared it. But just the wrong decision to cushion header it when your keeper is advancing out of the box.

But why was he advancing out of his box; Kitching had it covered under no pressure. Collins charging out put doubt in his mind.

It was a crazy misreading of the game.

Collins must not play again this season. He’s a liability. I’m half expecting Collins to win Burnley’s player of the match award

Wilson has plenty of mistakes in him, but I’ve never seen him make cock ups as consistently as Collins

Portsmouth is the easiest remaining game. They’re pretty much safe. All of our other games are against teams that are fighting for something

Which means it’s physiological. He must sh*t himself when infront of a crowd.

Now isn’t the time for him to be on the pitch dealing with whatever issues he has

Absolutely not. Kitching back to play Collins has to take control. Does nothing and then stumbles out of his box leaving Kitching with no options

Kitching literally had the ball the whole time, could have cleared it.

He tries to shield it back, realises it doesn't have the legs and then goes for a header as Collins is about to deal with it

For me it's not just the clangers that Collins drops, it's that his presence clearly bothers the defence and thus makes them more liable to make mistakes

With Bristol 2 0 up we are out of the playoff places again....hopefully gives the boys a lil kick up the arse and some hunger again in the next few upcoming games

Bristol won't make playoffs.

It's between us, WBA and Boro. And the games between us will probably decide it.

Bollox. As a CH if the keeper comes charging out of his box looking to clear it you let him. Collins stops 3 ft from the ball which if he keeps going he clears it

Burnley fans were very quiet. Couple of them sounding like right tramps on the way out. Think we could beat them in a Wembley final. Onwards and upwards ref shit Collins shit, everything else okay

We played ok today. Really frustrating.

really don’t know what to say on the GK situation now. Agree with others, gone past point now with Collins, almost be more confident with bell, Tyler in sticks -(wouldn’t do that) but he’s shot.

shame we were full value for point at least today.

I don’t know. Bristol have momentum and we’ve lost a key player and are leaking goals. I hope we make the playoffs, but fear we may miss out.

Exactly. Kitching is going to head that back to him then realises Collins still running and is now out the area. Once Collins committed to coming that far out of his goal he’s got to deal with it. Just looks low on confidence and indecisive

On Bell, we’ve got to be really careful with him. Don’t want to throw him to the fire just to get Collins out.

But I would give him a game if we are either 100% safe in the playoffs or 100% out

I think you are all wrong.

No blame can be apportioned against Kitching at all.

As the BBC have said, it was Thomas.

That would make sense if Wilson was just running his contract down but they've given him an extension.
