Well look , mistakes keep happing with Collins in goal so there's that

Collins has cost this team as many points as Dovins has won for it. Statistically the league’s worst this season, he just shouldn’t be in the side

Looks like he does header it which takes it away. Could be wrong though. Even so don’t players talk to each other. Why wouldn’t Collins shout what he was doing

Majority on Kitching for me. Indecisive.

Agreed. Collins should have cleared it. But just the wrong decision to cushion header it when your keeper is advancing out of the box.

I’m gonna go 60:40 the other way Kitching has so much time clear it and shout after

To be fair, keeper should be screaming while running out and taking the ball and the player if needed.

Wasn't blaming Collins for the first but the second is terrible.

Yes and you’re right that communication should be better. But Kitching has still seen all that and made the wrong choice by giving Collins a ball he can’t deal with.

The tone for the match was set when more or less 100% of Burnley's players screamed abuse at the officials after our goal and they did absolutely nothing about it. That's the moment the realised the officials were a soft touch

If you’re coming out of your box you take control, this is all on Collins, he had literally any direction to lace it. If he’s calling for it, what is Kitching supposed to do? He was already shielding the ball from the defender.

Burnley have Grimes and Collins to thank.

Then booked kitching for saying something about one of our players being studded.

Absolutely not. Kitching back to play Collins has to take control. Does nothing and then stumbles out of his box leaving Kitching with no options

First goal was nearly as annoying. Yeah Grimes gives it away but we had a chance to fix it. Instead, we had ball watching at its worst. Three defenders going for the same man/ball and leaving 2 Burnley players unmarked. Really basic failure to scan and communicate.

Yes. It’s unusual and not taking charge. But you can see Kitching thinking about it and going ‘I’m gonna do this anyway’

Reminds my of the goal we conceded against Hull last season where the CB definitely takes some blame but ultimately Collins pussies it.

His goalkeeper has made him hesitate and assume that the keeper will be clearing it.

Ultimately that deflated the side for the rest of the half. With teammates like Collins, who needs the opposition?

Think that’s right TBH. He’s got to play his way through. Drop him and then Wilson drops a Wilson next game and what do you do?

Look, obviously Collins stunk the place out today, but it’s one thing for your backup goalkeeper to make errors. It’s another thing for your £4.5m CB and your £3.5m captain-in-waiting to fuck up as well. Too many mistakes from players who I expected better of.

Grimes made a bad error but it could have been salvaged.

In an ideal world, Collins would have never played another game for this club after the Pompey debarcle

He’s come in today by default, but if we continue with him in goal it’s negligent

For everybody’s own good, including his own he shouldn’t play again this season

Look, despite the nonsense from Collins, Kitching and Grimes today (plus the ref…), I thought we gave the team that’s currently top of the league a pretty good game. And I actually feel more confident about potentially playing them in the playoffs then I did this morning.
