Might be the worst ref I've ever seen & there's quite some competition.

That Grimes error and the way we conceded even with so many players back in our box was so disappointing. We can beat these, but we need to be brave.

Not offside their defender is off the pitch so playing him on with the keeper

Decent half. We've definitely hoped our intensity, we're going to tire second half. Ref is shite

Yeah I generally let things slide but it’s seeming like he thinks our goal was offside and is trying to tip the balance in their favour now.

Well, it's clear at half time the ref is doing his very best to give them anything they want to make up for allowing a goal that was clearly offside. He's been awful. How the foul off the ball on Sakamoto didn't result in a yellow card is criminal. Ref doing his level best to ruin a good, competitive game of football. But then Burnley are enjoying a good roll around

Goal wasn’t offside. It came off their defender and Wright scored from it.

Both of there good chances have come from sloppy play in defence

The Sakamoto block was the clearest yellow you’d ever see. Can’t not be carding an intentional and aggressive off the ball foul.

Was good seeing Jamie Allen telling the ref this.

He was behind the keeper. He was offside. Fact. No arguing it. He was off

Sam Parkin, the co-commentator on SKY,is willing Burnley to win at times - more or less saying the ref was swayed by the crowd for the foul against Saka too

It came off their defender from a EMC shot. It's offside every single day of the week. I'm not arguing it because it was a goal for us. But however you look at it, he's 10000000% offside.

Bring Simms in for EMC and switch Wright out left. Also bring Sheaf in for Allen.

sky comes even tried to say it wasn’t a foul. The Burnley player made to checks to see where saka was before blocking

I’ll watch it back but I think the Burnley defender who blocked emc shot and the keeper played him on

No. Wright was more advanced than that defender when EMC had the shot.

He was in an offside position but not considered offside because the ball doesn’t go straight to him. Defender makes a deliberate attempt to hit the ball, so when it hits him, Wright is now back onside. Shit rule, but it’s the rule

Looked like he was well past the defender at that point Pete! Not complaining. It was a very quick turn and finish, harder than it looked given his body position!

Which makes it a pen. But the pen isnt/wasn't given, which makes it offside. 2 wrongs don't make a right. If a foul is committed after the ball goes out of play, it's not a free kick, it's a throw in. It'll an offside occurs after a pen that wasn't awarded, it's offside l! Simple. I'm sky blue and happy it stands as a goal. But you can't argue the grass is blue. It was offside.
