Must admit, while I have sympathy for Lampard regarding injuries in forward positions, I can't say I'm a huge fan of how he pisses with the defence so much. Something we've been doing all season tbf but it's pissing me off.

In fairness Thomas probably does need a rest out - he’s looked jaded for a while now

So Lati back in despite apparently being on his way out and after being at fault for a goal in his last game? Seems odd. Maybe Thomas has a knock.

Wow just heard the reason Thomas was dropped. I expected better of him than to be caught gooning in the changing rooms

0-2 defeat for me

Honking but I guarantee it's a team on paper that cost 5x more than the Bristol City side.

Thanks Austin/Robins. At least we're not filling a bench with unknown 10 year olds like 2 years ago.

I guarantee you it won’t be. Bristol have spent big money on players the last few years

They’ve spent £17 million in 3 seasons and sold nearly £40 million

So if they’ve spent £17m does the user expect us to field £95m worth of players

I think you will be surprised. Last summer alone we spent around £8-9m.

Twine
Armstrong
McNally
Mayulu
Bird
McGuane
Hirakawa

We have underachieved to be honest. That’s not just this season either, we have spent money down the years and yet never threaten the play offs.

The story of our lives really.

Yes I think a few of our posters are uninformed on your transfer spend.

You have a good squad on paper

Jamie Paterson starting at CB may be the only way for him to be the box-to-box player we were promised

We've looked a bit more solid the past two games, even despite the defeat at Norwich, in his non preferred system

FWIW I’ve backed a draw today. Never easy at your place in recent seasons.

Yes he played at Sunderland a couple of seasons ago and that was the worst game I have seen him take part in. After that he was good there on occasion.

He played away at Southampton in the cup there. I feel like he started away at Leicester at the start of last season there and was pretty good. He's needed in central midfield with Sheaf out though so can't see him being used at RWB.

Yeah it’s decent enough, just never seems to be enough to make a play off challenge inconsistency always seems to kill us. We’ve had some honking results away from home this season. Got done 3-0 twice away at Pompey and Derby earlier in the season

You'll find it easy today we are lacking our better players and are fucking terrible this season.

It was something Robins did but generally by now things have settled down.
But because we've brought in a new manager we seem to be repeating the process. That's why I just want us to get safe this, season and hopefully start afresh and more settled next season.

The failure to settle on the best lineup in literally any part of the pitch this season has really been our undoing.
