Could do with some of the teams we've got coming up getting hit with the illness than is going around rather than just us.

Wilder was moaning about what side he could put out last night.... Didn't bother to discover why....
Could be "the Illness"!?

Nope, but you can make a pretty reasonable guess considering they took 2200 to Portsmouth and a similar number to Stoke.

They brought 3000 the for that unbelievable game when we won with 10 men.

I would be starting Simms. He was in great form and was unlucky to be dropped. It would be nice to be in a position to throw on some peripheral subs, such as Andrews and Brau.

This is one of the closest games to them really, straight forward journey and easily done by public transport as well.

Not sure if Wright is better than Simms at the moment.

Expecting players to be out with this flu thing that's hit everywhere.

Just hope it's an even playing field and that Bristol have some players out too.

The crowd on sat will be important, we are a different beast at home. 2 0 us finally get that clean sheet and then confidence will be up for the Southampton game

3-1 as we are much better than them, are a home and there's no fucking curse unlike PNE.

Bristol City's last 8 - 2 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses. So basically relegation form for the last 6 weeks.

These are a good side with a some really tidy players who if given space will hurt you. We need to pin these back and take our chances because if its tight these will make it a nervy afternoon.

Clean sheet and 3 points would be a really nice early Christmas gift.

I know this is history but we were 2nd in rounds 7 and 8 and top from rounds 9 to 20 possibly a club record?
So I don't think we need to panic yet .

They still have 800 tickets to sell. Boycotting the prices apparently.

It’s a mustn’t lose or draw game.

They charged us £35 for the League at Ashton Gate last season, it has always been one of the more expensive away trips in the League - So does their outrage over pricing only extend to other clubs?

They also don’t travel that well in the first place. Their faux outrage looks silly to be honest an of course has nothing to do with the recent poor form (2-2-3 since November).

I would love a clean sheet and a win. We seem to have gone back to shipping goals. I fancy us to get the result we need though, but we are going to have to work for it. Brizzle seem to be able to manage some comebacks of late when then look down and out

Hopefully Bristol will be a bit more knackered than us, but they will be dangerous. Always hate facing Rob Dickie at set pieces.

MVE did play v Ipswich, both games we’ve lost there’s been 3-4 absences and highlights how thin the squad can be.

I have no issues with the performance on Tuesday to be honest. 9/10 we win that game comfortably and it was a game where we uncharacteristically underperformed our xG. One poor defensive set lead to PNE’s one and only chance and of course they score.

Deepdale is cursed.
