Big win. Deserved, but we made it far too difficult in the end, as is the way!

We suit teams that come and have a bit of a go at us more than teams playing in the way Bristol played in the 1st half.

Bloody hell, that was not good for the blood pressure! Felt inevitable we were going to end up throwing three points away there for a while. Not at all comfortable.

Can we go back to the team that was scoring for fun please? I liked that team!

Rushworth was immense and goes to show why it's so important to have a proper keeper,

Bristol ended up with a higher xG. CCFC 61.5% possession, 21 shots, only 4 on target...

If it was two points dropped on Tuesday, then that was two gained thanks to that brilliant save from Rushworth.

That was tense but the team showed great resolve to hold on - definitely the type of ugly win that's needed in a promotion push.

The clean sheet is very welcome as were the likes of Rudoni and Wright getting more minutes in their legs which will hopefully speed up their respective returns to form.

Top, 12 points clear of third and the league's top scorers - loads to be excited about going into the busy Christmas period and subsequent transfer window.

I thought we said it doesn't matter how scrappy it was, we just wanted the three points?

Fabulous result for us and now 12 points clear of third.

Brilliant set of results for us today on the whole

Well done, City!! It takes all sorts of performances to gain promotion.

I think most said they’d be happy if we got to 50 before new year. 3 needed and we’ve made it then can push on in the window. Each win like that is 1 step closer

Pros:
- Three points
- 12 points clear of 3rd
- EMC's strong form continues
- Rushworth incredible saves kept us in it

Cons:
- Rudoni actively hurting our attacks
- Sakamoto struggles again
- Looked so shaky at the back when they decided to attack
- Wright poor in front of goal

12 points clear of 3rd

The BBC Final Score programme is painful to watch at the best of times with their horrible banter but they've done my head in today talking about City not winning in a massive 2 games & saying they were wobbling
