Maybe that's why they are back on the grass.

How could the physios get a diagnosis that wrong?
The scan showed a tear so they have to take precautions. Initial timescales are based on typical recovery times but people heal differently. It's not the physios fault.

I did wonder how the earthquakes would affect tourism in Morocco this year, in fact I did think it might trash it altogether.

If Godden's goals dry up, it's time to drop him. He doesn't do enough besides them.

Some wanted him dropped when he was the top scorer in the division for two players who had one goal between them.

They didn’t tho. They wanted the first team strike pairing in once Goddens goals dried up. Which they have.

Wtf??? Goddess goals have dried up???

He's our top scorer and has more goals than Wright and Simms combined!!!

Wright is as lethal as Eccles and Simms has the same number of goals as we have had own goals.

Godden hit a purple patch no doubt, but hasn’t performed for two games. That was enough to have people wanting Kasey Palmer shot out of a cannon.

Godden was fine on Saturday and showed some signs of having an understanding with Simms, he set up two or three good openings for Simms

Haji Wright has played 90 mins once. Simms zero times. Godden nine times. Can we stop pretending that a call to dial down Goddens playing time and dial up the £20m of strikers time is an unreasonable ask?

Considering Simms was taken off while on a hat-trick, it’s unlikely to happen any time soon. Godden was pivotal in setting up two of the goals though I think, so is still contributing. I would like to see Simms and Wright given some time playing together though, especially as Godden seems to spend long periods out injured, so it would be good for them to have some kind or understanding.

Convincing home win would be nice. They shipped 4 yesterday so no reason we can’t bag. Simms to get on the scoresheet again

That’s all I want. I think coming on last 20 mins as a striker is shit. Half the time they barely get a touch. Just one game with the both starting. We can bring Godden on at 60 if we must.

Godden's running into space, drawing defenders for others to capitalise can't be underestimated. It's not all about scoring. he was screaming at Simms after Simms blasted over when Godden had made the perfect run and would have scored with a through ball. You have to look at the whole contribution. Simms will now start scoring regularly. Wright will need to improve if he is to be a regular starter, which I'm sure will come.
As for Blackburn. They must be lacking confidence right now, so expect us to win this one. Kelly and Eccles the other day were very good in their roles. Allen was a driving force and had a good game. Would like Kitching to come into the fold. Amazing how it's coming together without key players too. With O'Hare back and others I think we will soon be challenging near the top.

Saturday did seem like the perfect opportunity to put Wright on with Simms for a bit (unless Simms was really dead on his feet).

massive few days
6 points and we will be very close to the top 6
A minimum of 4 points would see us very nicely placed going into the break

Yeah, there were definitely signs of an understanding between Godden and Simms but do think Robins should have subbed Godden for Wright and given him and Simms 15 or so minutes together just to get a look at them as a pairing.

If we must... lol.

Totally bizarre to be so grudging about such a fine servant to the club and our top scorer.

The approach of prioritising players based on how much they cost is really working at Chelsea.

Godden and simms had 46 touches between them Saturday , 26 godden 20 simms .

We won 3-0 and one of our strikers scores 2 .. what's Robins actually going to change ? Nothing

Aside from Godden playing well so far this season, it's unfair and unnecessary pressure on Wright to have him paired with Simms just because we paid big transfer fees for the pair of them. Let's just see how it goes and let him find his way.
