Win.

3-2, as we are bound to leak goals again.

Wright, Thomas and Saka.

Would play this, which might give us a chance

Dovin
Milan
Thomas
Kitching/binks
Da Silva
Sheaf
Eccles
Rudoni
Sakamoto
Simms
Wright

But against an unbeaten Blackburn side I reckon a 1-3 home defeat

In these desperate times, I agree that we should throw everything including the Kitching Binks at them

They must have the slowest pair of centre halves in the league so I would be tempted to use BTA or Bertie up front.

This goes one of two ways now. We are where we are.

1. It’s the fergie moment and we win and go on some amazing run.

2. We lose 3-0 and it’s the end of an era

I am missing this one, got wrestling training. Could just bin wrestling training off for it but can't be arsed if the players can't be arsed either

I don't think he will do this, but I would send out an attacking lineup with instructions to be quick and direct and attacking.

Something needs to change, we're too slow and ponderous at the moment. Send them out to try and score 3 or 4, even if it means we concede a couple. Just feels like the players need the shackles taking off and the confidence from scoring a few goals.

3-4-3

Anyone would run around more than Simms did yesterday.

Tuesday has to be treated like a cup final, anything less than 3 points and I fear the atmosphere could turn nasty towards the players.

If we do win, (big if) I don't want the players coming over to the fans and giving it the big celebration, just fuck off and win again Saturday.

I think if you're playing a 343 then you can't have Rudoni in a midfield two.

Nearly put him at RW instead of Saka but as he's played every game I thought he could maybe do with a rest.

Enter the relegation zone in style against a team that knows what it’s doing and has a manager performing a Robins-esque task with SISU like owners. 4-3-3 with a flat central midfield:

Dovin
MVE
Thomas
Kitching
Dasilva
Sheaf
Eccles
Torp
Wright
Saka
Simms

1-3 loss.

I think Binks hasn’t looked bad, and definitely the better passer if you’re trying to play from the back

I’d try and tighten the defence with Lats Bobby and Binks as a 3, Milan and JDS wingbacks, with Lats and Binks moving over to cover when one goes forward, Sheaf and Rudoni in midfield, Simms and maybe Norm up front as I think Simms needs someone with him at the minute to take the pressure off, and then I’m struggling with the last man, who to play where, Torp in the ‘10’ maybe, or BTA just off the strikers, or Tats, EMC maybe….

we’ve got so many attacking players but how do you make them fit, and gel together…??

PS this only works if you tell Lats not to tuck in to the centre when covering RB too

Blackburn were massively out performing their xg.

We have to play:

Dovin

MVE
Thomas
Binks/Kitchng
Dasilva

Eccles
Torp
Rudi

Saka
Simms
Wright (who hopefully has learned from being dropped)

I think Robins is too good a manager and the players we have are decent players .
Sort out whatever the issues are , move on and move up the league

I’m looking forward to the game , we have to turn the corner at some point and mysteriously our best performances have come in evening kick offs.
For me, I want to see a pumped up Wright in for EMC and Bidwell in for Dasilva. I’d perhaps start with Simms but any sign of his recent timidity and I’d get Stormin Norman on.

For me, it’s obvious he has lost the dressing room. Wright and Simms don’t look like scoring. We aren’t a threat from set pieces. All over the place. Tuesday may be the icing on the cake.

3-0 win.

Simms, Wright, Thomas header from corner and a clean sheet for Bradley Collins.

We need a reaction from the players, first and foremost. To me, it looks like a ‘downed tools’ situation, however this is mere speculation. It behooves them to turn up and show us what they can do, no more half-arsed, inattentive performances.

Will we get it with no experienced player willing to step up and be MR’s mouthpiece? Nope. Last season we had Fadz, Kelly and Godden to chip in and rally the team, now we have Wilson and Allen.

I fear this season will degenerate into a very dangerous flirtation with the bottom 4, unless something that needs to be changed gets changed. And works.

PUSB. 1-0 to us, and onwards and upwards.
