BrilliantThis has been stuck in my head all day so getting it out. When we get “Where were you when you were shit?” To the tune of On Top Of Old Smokey:
We were in Northampton
And we were in Brum
And when City weren’t playing, we were in your mum.
Do with that what you will
He actually won a few headers, his coaching must be workingWright understandably looked like he was in a different time zone. Simms another very good substitute performance.
I stuck with the bars along the side of the east stand (tin can alley as i call it)I do use the bars as £3.60 but still a few drinking their own cansBeen told this new indoor fan village wasn’t very good. True?
Rightly was criticized the last time we had him but for balance was on top of his game today.Easy to say when you've won but thought the officials were on top of their game today. About time!
Just need the last 25 games unbeaten at the end and winning both games against the second placed team. This is currently a better start than 67,we all know what happened.
We've remembered how to score!!!
I'm sure Frank played in plenty of games like that. Sometimes you have to wn ugly and get the job doneAs others have said ‘we got the job done’. Not the best performance; v disjointed first half, front 4 didn’t work as too much space between front players and midfield, passes loose etc. but this is a team that roll its sleeves up and works as a team and together they did what was needed. I bet Lampard as impressed with the result as any this season.
Dunno mate we’re not even halfway to 50 points yetBobby T had his head on everything today
Won a scrappy game whilst not playing well
we’ll definitely stay up this season fucking buzzing
You were the rascal in those horrific chinos todayDunno mate we’re not even halfway to 50 points yet
Guilty as charged. Got my sky blue chinos set aside for the game that clinched promotionYou were the rascal in those horrific chinos today
spot you a mile off
He actually won a few headers, his coaching must be working
Looking a much more complete side now, yes a keeper who's making saves, claiming or punching crosses, don't fk about with the distribution. Thomas and Kitch look far more efficient with Grimes to almost marshal them, can't believe how much ground the skipper covers. Had a bit of luck in a lot of games but those clean sheets are incredible. We just have a formidable front-loaded team of players who have the quality to score goals. We’re going to score goals even when we don’t play that well.
Thats without even talking about a goalkeeper (who some on here written off instantly) making game changing saves when it matters!
BTA in particular, since getting regular minutes has shown that a bit of confidence helps a player to show qualities we haven’t seen before.
Man United monitor exciting youngster at Championship side
The 16-year-old was named on the first team bench for Saturday's game against Blackburn. It comes after he impressed making his first appearance for the club's U21s earlier this season.www.dailymail.co.uk
Apparently Man United are looking at stealing Shepherd off us....
True for the most part. There was one really strange throw-in decision in the first half which was very obviously ours and was given to Blackburn. First half was also a bit scrappy, couple of decisions that could’ve been let go that weren’t and ones that could’ve been pulled up that also weren’t. But second half flowed way more and didn’t really notice the officials then.Easy to say when you've won but thought the officials were on top of their game today. About time!
