Had a dream last night that Ellis Sims scored after 6 mins and then did a knee slide in corner.

However when camera zoomed in he had Thomas asantes face

So I'm going for a 2-0 win!

Will be interesting to see what Blackburn try after having a few weeks to analyse and come up with something. Equally interesting to see how we respond to whatever it is they do.

We turn up and perform, we win.

As Lampard says its all about confidence an dont worry about what the opposition is trying to do! its will be the hittiest game and we will sneak one goal late second half

3-0 or 4-1 - something like that. They have only scored 8 goals if you include the one in the abandoned game and that was a penalty. Cantwell is the only one to watch out for - 4/8 goals. He may be a bit of a Dandy Dan but he is still quite good.

Looking for a good performance from EMC. Many of the players have improved sharply either at an individual level (Da Silva, Torp) or how they work within pairings (MVE & Tats or Kitch & Thomas). Not sure EMC has kicked on, regardless of what the stats say. He has the skills to absolutely tear defences apart. Doing a great piece of tackling back to set up BTA against Wednesday is not the same thing

EMC strength is that he can hold the ball and they cannot get it off him! this gives us so msny opportunities to create something different, i wish he would drive into the box more though.

I think if we lose this one straight after the international break, it'll give the clubs in and around us some momentum and get them thinking that our bubble has burst over the break.

A win though, I think it'll be a good statement for our seasons intentions. Break done, Cov still winning and showing no signs of let up.

Going 3-0 to us. EMC, Saka and Thomas.

One thing I've noticed recently with EMC, is that he isn't that quick at all. He is great with ball at his feet, creating a yard of space to deliver a cross or pass.

A win will show the rest of the league that we are in it till the season ends! and the teams will set themselves up to try and nullify us! as lomg as we dont dont make silly mistakes at the back then the league is for the taking. If we hit the 9 or 10 points clear of 3rd by end of October then we are the business.

Lots of question marks about the team- I assume Torp will be fit again. Eccles hopefully. Rudoni still out. USA playing Wednesday night, Wright might not be ready to start?

Well for them both to be fully fit and come straight in you'd have to drop 2 players you helmet

I think Wright will be involved with US on Wednesday so with that in mind and travel I'd probably start Simms. BTA will be back at Ryton tomorrow so him EMC and Tatsu as the 3 behind. Torp and Grimes as the middle 2..

Back line picks itself which leaves a very good bench for FL to call on.

2-0 and no injuries would be a nice way to wrap up the 1st 10 games.

Sheff Wed was an odd game, they were very poor defensively. Maybe BTA could work in the 10 but I think Eccles is the safer bet.
