Beautiful to see that absolute maggot le Boeuf tangled in the back of the net.

Should have added him to the Hate thread.

Some terrible editing in that video, but I remember seeing that save of Hedman's at the c5.50 mark from behind the goal, and being stunned by it.

Proper exciting start to a season! Dublin and Huckerby were unplayable at times.

In true Cov style, we then didn’t win again for 10 games or something

My first ever game as a Coventry City supporter. Had got into football as a six year old at the 98 World Cup. Asked my dad what happens outside of world cups and he told me Coventry was the team we supported.

Looking back it was a fantastic result against a quality team, although I didn’t go to the match in person. My first game in person was watching us lose 5-1 at home to Newcastle in the same season. Honestly am so happy I stuck to supporting this club rather than going down the predictable Utd glory supporting path. City have brought me so much more joy. Will love the club till the day I die

Was weird when the commentator said "From the Stade De France to Highfield Road"

This was the first game me and my brother went up without my dad, tanking it up the M5 in his Mini Clubman picked up a Chelsea hitchhiker on the way.

I remember my brother being adamant that he saw Casiraghi stick his finger up our players arse when in a wall

I guess a few played in the World Cup 98 final against Brazil in France? Labourf and Desailly off the top of my head?

I definitely remember him scoring the winner in a dull game against Sheffield Wednesday.

Oh I know, just weird in the fact that they were coming to play a league game at HR against us when you think whats happened the last 10 years.

I know at times it was a misery struggling to survive every year but when you look at some of the players our younger fans saw as their hero’s growing up, you realise we were extremely lucky we got to watch world class players almost every week.

Admittedly, they were playing for the opposition most of the time but that’s not the point!

We obviously played Chelsea quite a lot over their years, and my time was from the 90’s onwards, but I never found their fans had the reputation that went with them.

I still remember the first time I heard them sing ‘One man went to mow…’ and when it got to ‘10 men’ and 4000 of the fuckers stood up in unison and belted it out it was proper spine tingling.

Remember my dad having this game on CWR whilst decorating my sister’s bedroom. Would have been 6 years old.

We were on a family holiday to Devon so my parents let us stay up to watch the MOTD highlights.

Was my first game in the West Terrace, having previously been an East Stand regular.

That was a cracking Chelsea line up to be fair. Seeing those clips remind me how much I miss Highfield Road.

I was thinking about that the other day, I remember them singing it. You don't hear them sing it at Stamford Bridge now, but their support has changed a bit over the years.

They've priced a lot of fans out of the game
