My artist brother in law (Sheffield Utd fan) creates bespoke ‘team’ art works (see pic-Man City) combining all of a teams best (or most loved) players. Been trying to get him to a Cov City one for ages. He says if I can get 75 ‘orders’ he’ll do it. If you’d buy one at £30 please like this post or comment.

It’s bespoke so hence needs numbers to make it worthwhile & we get a chance to name the players who we’d like on it.

Can't he just send the Man City one to us - same colours - and fairly sure we had a player with a shark's head?

Edit: Is that somebody from a ska band in the middle row ?

Why is the Invisible Man on 2nd row down, 3rd one in? Or is it Walter White?

Can we pick any players or do they all have to be Gary Breen?

Unrelatedly, hopefully their faces in the art aren’t blue.

I had an English artist paint a picture of Houchen’s wembley goal and went to England to collect it. When I arrived it wasn’t ready. I stayed in touch with the artist throughout my vacation and he promised it would be completed in tome for y return trip. It was (just) long story short he met me while I was in line at the airport and presented me wit my “36 x “18” canvas and said “careful it”s still a little wet”

Clarrie Bourton, George Mason and Reg Matthews would have to figure as players of a 'long gone past' are concerned, surely?
Maybe even Alf Wood?

Wasn't Jesse Carver considered a good egg whilst he was here?
Not sure what he achieved, beyond keeping the team steady.

Clarrie Bourton might deserve a hint of sepia.

Wow! - What a CV. Checked his wiki stats when I got in from work this morning.
Been aware of the name for decades but as you say, he was only here briefly. It was more a case of 'what could have been'.
So for that reason - no way should he make the final cut for our pic.

Like to see a few from the 2019 promotion season (despite it being Div4). McNulty/Doyle/Willis as a minimum. Definitely Robins as a manager.
All the 1987 Cup Team and a fair few from the 80s/90s top flight.
