But at what point do you stop fighting the inevitable ?

You can carry on, I have joined the party and now enjoy both football and rugby.
I do prefer rugby league more than union as a game so there is more variety to come.

Just wish Sisu would be bought to task on the demise of our club and give us a plan for the future, but hey you (and others) take the easy option rather than upset them.

When did I walk past Fisher recently ?
Other than we were in Northampton and I saw a group of fans drooling around him (you were probably one) outside the executive entrance at an away match.
They were all laughing, shaking his hand and and probably defending his actions (like this board at times).
I was hardly going to break the circle of hands to get to him !!

You were probably jealous because he didn't like the GIFs you made.

Why will you never answer any questions put to you?

You clearly realise the gaffe over Garlick as you ignore that frantically.

So - would this have happened if wasps weren't here? Yes or no.

Answer by the way is no as you will not answer at all but just put another load of drivel in your post.

The Garlick gaffe was acknowledged several pages ago. Because as usual you're talking unfounded shit and I've pulled you up on it you keep bringing up something I've already acknowledged I was wrong over like I haven't acknowledged it in an effort to make your unfounded shit sound more credible.

I have as much idea if this would have happened if wasps weren't here as you do. I.e. none. Neither of us have a view into that alternative reality only you as usual are trying to pass supposition of as fact.

My point on this is clear. It's the councils job to promote the region. That is the only point I've made and that is what they are doing here with a whole lot of other people and bodies aside from wasps who you are trying to make it all about.

This actually looks like even more of a wasps PR stunt than I first thought.

Virtually all these bodies Tony seems very keen on are brand partners of engage a company set up in 2013 with the aid of the milichip fund.

In 2015 it was commissioned by wasps to take their premiership in the community project across the city to promote rugby.

Launch article attracted. What's the difference?

Did Coventry have no schools, universities or chamber of commerce before wasp's arrived? They're involved too you know. Are these bodies also part of some evil plan to push the club to the sidelines?

The thing is with this engage stuff, it is pretty much what SBITC has been doing for years and getting on with it's business.

He's right though on his last paragraph. No one has done more damage to this club than SISU yet you and a whole host of other poster say very little to jack shit about them. When it comes to wasps though they are clearly a convenient distraction for you and others from the failings of our owners. You lot are probably more happy than most that they're here as it means you have a convenient distraction from the real issues that are damaging the club.

They clearly have a plan to become the city's leading sports team and try and turn it into a rugby city. It's probably the council's view that it'll make the city more gentrified.

Why on earth would two ccfc supporters defend a London franchise moving to the city. It really is bizarre.

In my experience a lot of those partners are more than likely doing very little other than putting their name into the project. The key question is who is driving this project forward and who is funding it.

Also although there's a long list of names a lot of those organisations are already linked and in some cases pretty much multiple parts of the same organisation!

Exactly, and if we suddenly claimed to be the city of football people would think it was ridiculous.

Haha anyone would think that the club was successful and healthly before they came along. I know you started supporting the club later than most but Richardson did far more damage to the club than sisu.

Maybe you should read up on the history of our club before spouting off.

Nobody is defending SISU or saying they've been great owners. Having shit owners does not give others free run to do their best to damage the future of the club or completely ignore any good that is done such as SBITC.

Because it is Wasps though, like anything it's amazing.

It's like our fans saying it was amazing that Wasps had local kids rugby teams at the game, it was amazing to see the kids in their club colours. Why dont CCFC do that for the community etc etc etc. The same thing CCFC had done about 2 weeks before and do every week!

Maybe Wasps can invent Walking Rugby so everybody can get excited about it?

Yet nobody mentions city players going into schools to help them with their reading, or when Vincelot and Johnson went into schools to help them learn french.

If it was Wasps, there would be a big thing made of it.

Yeah, I have yet to see your protest arrangements or thread on here? It's the usual approach that everybody must think like you, do as you do but you don't do anything yourself.

You seem to think that posting on here upsets them, they really couldn't give a shit.

Yes a series of poor management has helped put us where we are.
But Sisu took us to Northampton for their own personal gain and that is a low as it gets. End of !!

I'd love new owners.

I wouldn't blindly support anyone coming in, we ended up with SISU as everything thought 'it can't get worse'. For example I certainly wouldn't want to be taken over by Wasps.

My concern is that I can't see a great deal any new owner can do thanks to the situation the sale of the stadium to Wasps has left us in. Unless someone comes in who is happy to lose a large amount of money the future is not very bright.

Isn't that why you were demanding everybody supports them and getting a bit touchy when people disagreed with you when they came in? Because they would be better than the last idiots and they were saving us?

Of course, its a huge benefit for those fans who can't go to games anymore.

Its a shame SISU couldn't show more consideration to us and move us 85 miles away so we can also reap those benefits.

The people of Northampton reaped the benefits. All those locals who were going every week.

Richardson. Another convenient distraction from SISU for you. And actually I started supporting the club in the Richardson era so I'm well aware of the damage he done as well as the ones in-between. Unlike you thought I prefer to question the ones who not only exacerbated damage done previous to there arrival, are still here and most importantly are currently responsible for remedying that damage should they wish to.

It's too easy to blame those that went before especially when it was so long ago. One day you might realise (although the won't hold my breath) that non of the parties that went before SISU or any of the outside parties that you use as a distraction from SISU can get us out of this hole, only SISU can do that. I fear it may be to late though by the time you have that realisation if you ever do. In the meantime you keep giving them places to hide, I'm sure that will work.

Is posting on a forum "giving them places to hide"? Are you actively out there then playing hide and seek and stuff with them, or are you also posting on a forum? Mostly about things you claim not to be bothered about.

Sisu are terrible owners who should have nothing to do with our football club. However, both their actions are the arrival of the London franchise in the city are going to have long term effects on the club.

I suspect that you defend them being here as you believe it is attacking sisu and getting one up on them.
