can get there - but not back until 1 hour after kick off
plenty of buses- or taxi if few of you
hope we stuff you and you have a miserable day
:jerkit:I can confirm it stops for wasps games but not sky blues. Another kick in the teeth by our beloved council and midlans rail.
i get this train each morning to work and its a joke. Theres one carriage that everyone squeezes on sometimes 30 or more people standing and people being turned away on the platform because its to full. Despite numerous complaints to midlands rail they give the standard response of they dont have anymore trains to use and that you have to accept it that trains are busy.
yet on a sunday they can magically find another train to put on for the rugby :jerkit:

Hi, Swindon fan in peace...
I've seen you have a Coventry Arena station but seen quite a few people saying that it's not available for fans on match days, despite fact I can buy tickets on National Rail?
Can anyone shed some light on this please, if it isn't available - better to get buses or taxis right?
We've sold 2050 tickets so far, hoping to maybe reach 2500. Looking forward to a good game between 2 pretty good football sides.
There's another white elephant of a station in Bermuda ind est Nuneaton
Who the hell uses it is beyond me and how much did that cost?
The Department for Transport will fund up to £4.75 million of the £13.6 million scheme. The remainder will be met by the county council (Warks) and Coventry City Council.
* the EDRF letter says £3.5M funding..NUCKLE is being delivered by the Council, Centro and Warwickshire County Council - with the Council acting as the lead. It is funded by, the three partners, Department for Transport (DfT) and European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Hahahahahahahahahahahahah what an absolute joke.

It may not be a conspiracy but it most certainly is spin. Think we know who the favourable spin is being given too.
Wasps said:“We were very pleased with the Rugby Special train service which was trialled at Wasps’ games against Harlequins and Leicester Tigers.“These initial services were a great success operationally and have been very well received by Wasps’ fans.
didn't the council know years ago it wouldn't be viable?Couldn't give a rats ass about spin.
The issue is the train service may not be viable
That's the issue here not soon for gods sake
didn't the council know years ago it wouldn't be viable?
Of course they did.
Who locally is going to use it?
Have to make your way to the main station. It is quicker just catching the bus or driving to the Ricoh.
When we played Swindon in October, we were 19 places and 12 points ahead of them. After Saturday, that could be down to 4 places and 3 points.
No offence Swindon fella, but I hope to god we turn you over!

Yeah, me and my lad went to that. Nightmare it was. That was one of Kent's most frustrating performances for me.

I took my folks Torch. 2-0 with 5 to go. Gutting!
I am just annoyed that it didn't work, for some reason that's a cause for celebration here. As oppose to thinking about the benefit for Cov fans if it did work and some could catch a train to the match making it an even more enjoyable experience.
That's my first and only thought.
Yet on here it's spin this spin that.,
Ha ha ha ha ha
Great Wasps have lost money
Ect ect
