The people on that video were hardly even watching what was going on in the game, they were too busy singing at the away fans...

Pride of the Midlands, I dont know if you are trolling or a genuine poster but know when to give it up.

To be honest most of us couldnt give a flying fig about the Villa or any other team as we have enough problems of our own. I am not really that bothered if your manager is Big Eck or not, but was interested in your opinion of him on the other thread.

Honestly all we are interested in is keeping solvent, getting taken over/investement, and keeping going, rather than being concrened about a perceived local rival.

The Blues and Leicester are our main rivals, in terms of locality and league status, your club is just a distant dream, which many of us dont think about, as we concentrate on the present.

Your rivals are the Blue Noses, so why not go and have some banter with them.

Respect to you anyway, but generally most of us dont care about the Villa, nor anyone else that much, we have enough to think and care about on our own clubs doorstep!

Couldn't have said it better. Let's not turn this into a slanging match.

It used to be the silent Main stand... I think a certain block may have alienated the rest, no?

You definitely care about us.

You even sang SOTV when you weren't even playing us.

But fair enough.

You guys need to improve.

Even Blackpool got promoted.

OT, that chant is alright I guess.

WHAT!? The majority of Cov fans see Villa as our biggest rival, it's miles bigger than Birmingham and ligtyears bigger than fucking Leicester! I'm actually not sure how you can think that Villa isn't a rival, there was even a poll on here a few days ago where the vile came out on top. I hate them scummy arrogant c*nts more than anything.

I don't understand why you hate us more than Blues.
i
St Andrews is closer to Cov than Villa Park is.

I'd have thought Blues fans and Cov fans are more likely to come into contact (East/South Brum) than Villa fans and Cov fans (North Brum)

If we're using Geography then you should hate Walsall or West Brom over Blues, or are you bending the argument to fit again?

Cause blues are nothing. Joke of a club and always have been, the fact that they think they're a big club now after winning a mickey mouse trophy is laughable. And villa have support in our areas like Nuneaton, Warwick, Leamington etc...

Plus every Villa fan thinks they are one of the biggest clubs in the country when they haven't one anything that matters since 1982

The closest ground to Villa Park is St Andrews mate.

The closest ground to the Ricoh is also St Andrews.

I was just correcting the other guy.

You need all the people on here that you can get.

Coventry don't exactly have a massive fanbase do they...

We were singing the Greg Downes song about Andy Thorne at the end of last season! Brilliant chant!

What is up with people? they are songs, i welcome all songs sung at any time.....people were moaning that the fester song wasn't "gramatically" correct (Forgive my spelling) it is the same words that blackburn (who started it) sing at burnley. get a grip. all teams sing about rivals whether they play them or not. encourage the atmosphere not moan at the lads trying. if you want to sit quiet then do it, enjoy your match the way it suits you. but there will be singing and i am sure not all songs are 100% accurate so what. Melbourne , you no doubt will only hear the game on the radio or maybe catch it on the box sometimes, surely you like to hear the cov fans chanting? i know i do, makes me feel proud to hear the city fans at a game i cant attend.

People were moaing because it makes no sense and calling someone interbred is actualy a compliment as it means the oppisite of inbred! Plus they are not our rivals so why should we sing about them?

Hi all, just joined the forum today, from a quick glance, I'd say it already has a lot better content/articles than 606/GMK, which is a flipping relief! I know this has probably been asked a lot, but does anyone have any ideas on the ticket sales for our end?!

can you sstop saying they're not our rivals, you may not think so, but probably over half of coventry fans think they are, whether they're spotty teenagers or OAPs it doesn't matter they are all coventry fans at the end of the day and have there own opinions on who our rivals are. If you dont think they're our rivals then just don't comment on Leicester specific threads ( not including general match talk as it is still a game and you'll most likely want to discuss the match as any other game)
