Could be wrong, but I read somewhere (may have been Dellaglio in one of the Sunday broadsheets) that the funding from Wasps has coming directly from one individual, the owner Richardson. It didn't say where his wealth was made up from though.
You could be right. I just read somewhere about a fund based in Malta, but may have come to the wrong conclusion.
