Just seen that Cov Tel did a story today on Wasps fans looking over the Ricoh... it was in CCFC news now feed or I never would have noticed it, it isn't enough for that feed to get polluted by Man City news, now its getting stung by Wasps too!

You sound just a tad sour? As a Coventry City fan slightly miffed? Rightly so, but that said it is rightly in the city news

Yup, it is a take over.. but realistically it was always the case.. PR can say what it likes, things have changed.. Cov will certainly lose out.

Assuming that these 750 have primarily come up from the South and have been attending regularly at Wycombe I would expect that they are mightily impressed with the Ricoh complex. All that said when the offer of free coaches runs out and the gravity of their situation dawns on them in terms of distance I can see many of them knocking it on the head and doing something else with their Saturdays a bit closer to home. Travelling in the UK is dreadful these days, hardly a day goes by without major roads being shut down by accidents and incidents, it's not getting any better either. Make no mistake, Wasps are doing their PR thing here for existing fans but their eyes are on the greater catchment areas of the West Mids for the future.

ARVO is a SISU run company. They only owe money to themselves and always have done, the rent boycott aside.

I know that, Joy is heavily involved in both SISU & ARVO

I'm with you on this, I think the crowds will very quickly drop off (entirely possible there's some wishful thinking from me here though, in all honesty).

Fwiw though, I understood that Wasps will stick with playing their home games on a Sunday for the time being.
