After some recommendations for a night out in Cov.

Crowd of 40 somethings heading over on the train on a Friday afternoon evening. And then leaving on the last train home.

Where do we go? Earlsdon or City Centre?

Would like to visit a fair few different places. Entertainment, Live music maybe. Decent beers.

Haven’t been out out for years but only heard bad things about town recently. Last time out we did the Earlsdon crawl and we had a pretty good time.

Just a shame that in general I think Earlsdon is full of cunts.

You’ve got the 4 pubs down Craven St, and there’s The Nursery Tavern down Lord St off Craven St. If you start at the Four P’s and end at the Chestnut that leaves you closer to the Old Clarence. Depending on how much walking you’re happy with you could go to City Arms from there, I can’t think of the pub name up the high street across the road from Millsy’s. Down the opposite way from City arms is The Albany which has live music most of the time. Four P’s has always been pretty quiet earlier in the night.

By this time we’re usually half cut and end up in the aardvark and town and it’s a bit sketchy from there. I’ve never been to the dyers arms down Spon End.
