Such a strange feeling, particularly being located in the West West Midlands, seeing a fellow Cov Fan in the wild. Just gone on our quarterly call at work and the big big boss is sat infront of a framed 00-01 shirt. Certainly changed my perception of him haha.

Where is the oddest place you have met a Cov fan, where you didn't expect?

The receptionist at my old cotswolds based office was a Cov fan, used to chat about results and she'd tell me about the glory days

Bumped into a fellow Cov in B&Q back in the last lockdown. Always nice to see others in the wild

Saw someone in a Cov shirt at a WWE show in Miami back in 2012. Was going to say hello but the wife, now ex-wife, was with me and thought it was weird!

Also saw a tent with SISU Out written on it at Reading Fest a few years back.

2 stories:
In 2000 we took our then 3 year old daughter to Disney Orlando Florida for Xmas. After the flight from Birmingham & drive from Sandford to our hotel on International Drive, we checked into our hotel & after completing formalities went to chill around the pool-the 1st thing we saw was a girl wearing a Cov shirt (& not much else)-very nice too.
In 2016 to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary my wife & I took a cruise sailing down the Pacific coast of Canada, the USA & Mexico. After flying to Canada & spending 4 days pre cruise in British Columbia, we boarded the boat in Vancouver-& the 1st thing we saw walking round the deck-was a guy in a Cov shirt...

Tried to buy a framed Cov shirt in a sports shop in Torquay, to be told by the bloke in the shop that it was his, and not for sale.

Anybody wearing a football shirt not at the football is a pervert and best avoided. Even about 50% of those wearing it at the football are into feet stuff.

I used to help a mate out now and again who is a plumber which I guess made me an occasional plumber's mate, anyway one of the Spanish staff in the plumber's merchants where he bought his gear from here in Mallorca, was a city fan. He told me he'd followed city ever since he'd watched the 87 cup final on t.v. Was very knowledgeable about the club too.

Went into an underground bar in Berlin only to see a massive union jack with Coventry city FC on it behind the bar.

Guy in a city shirt walking around Bangkok.
And slightly different , my Mrs was in Melbourne zoo talking with her brother when one of the keepers without even looking up from his job said what part of cov are you from.

Went to rhodes on holiday a few years ago and flew from manchester airport (cheaper) , sat next to a bloke playing footy manager and was playing as cov. I assumed he had just picked a poor team as a challenge, turns out was an actual cov fan. Spent the whole flight chatting cov. Much to mine and his partners dismay im sure. Small world.

Met Garry Hoffman at a business meeting in Barbados - he wasn't wearing a City shirt.

But a local beach vendor in Barbados was wearing a City shirt; told me he'd been given it by one of our past Chairman (very surprisingly it wasn't Orange Ken).

Randomly met a fan in a supermarket in Abu Dhabi, I think on the day we played Stoke in the Cup.

Finally a few months ago heard a couple of lads talking about City on the London underground - always go and speak to fellow sufferers.

Was in a cafe for breakfast in Santa Monica in the 90’s,Guy next to me said your from Cov aren’t you out the blue and showed me a Cov badge on his t shirt.
Also his local was the Red lion in walsgrave strange as it was my local at the time.
He’d been living out there since the late 70’s as a painter and decorator.
